This Road Leads To Nowhere

The Creative Writing Template Problem

Before I started writing this I was told by Hubpages, like everyone prior to writing a hub is always told, to choose a template, normally I would choose the basic article. This time I decided not to use that template and chose the creative writing template.

As you probably know if you choose a specific template, the template will come with a set of rules. I hate rules, is what I am trying to say here, and I regret choosing a particular template. I am not here to be on the first page of Google, which the rules and tips keeps suggesting I do. Why? why do I want to be on the first page? so I get so many views? Does my writing look like I care for views? If you are wondering, the answer is no, no I don't care for it.

In fact I hope Google never finds me. Although, if you know my address google can and will give you a GPS view of my home, so I guess it has already found me. Alas, privacy is getting extinct-y nowadays. Hashtag snowden?

So after this hub I shall henceforth never choose another specific template for a specific topic. I am like a beautiful butterfly floating here and there and you keep me in a cage...actually butterflies can still get out of cages, my bad. But you get my point. No more templates. I create my own templates from now on!

What I Should Be Doing With This Hub

I should mock all the tips that is written on each capsule and just label it as a humor hub, but I won't. Although it might be a good idea. May be next time.

Let's see what should we talk about now.

I guess this hub should have been about advice and wisdom and success and all that, you know, like so many of the hubs that I have written, but I have decided against that, because lately I have been thinking? who died and made me the advise giver all of a sudden. I am a 32 year old man living with my parents and working in my family owned company.I have it pretty good.

The people who should be writing those kinds of things are people who have gone through the nitty gritty of starting from zero and then be successful. You know people who are way too busy to be reading this hub right here. So I don't think I will do that.

What I will be doing with this hub is just to write what is going on in my mind as unfiltered as it can be. Knowing that I am writing on Hubpages, I HAVE to filter it a bit. But this is as raw as it gets I guess. This is like my Let it Be album. Raw and Bare, and just unfiltered and unedited. Why would I want to edit it anyway, we have editbot now, isn't editbot a grammar or spelling nazi?

Hubpages has created an automated grammar/spelling nazi people, have you all realized that? If they called it grammar/spelling nazi instead of editbot things would definitely be very interesting around here.

I sometimes wonder if the black and white editbot gets to fight about equal rights? The black will be protesting why are we only correcting the comment section while the white gets all the hub!!! equal rights!!! Can't tell...we just cannot tell. Nothing is transparent anymore.

I wonder how he would react to this Hub? Don't answer that.

The Advice On This Capsule Was Hilarious

Ok so this particular capsule came with the advice saying "keep the readers on your hub!" How do I do that? wouldn't that violate human rights? aren't people allowed to browse and look around freely? Why should I "keep" them on my hub? what do you mean by keep? You know, Hubpages, as a spokesman of good english, you seem to have a problem choosing the right words. You could at least have said "keep your readers 'glued' to your hub' that would make way more sense. I don't want to keep the readers in the basement that is my hub and lock them there. They are free to do as they please.

If by now they think this is the drunk rambling of a creative writer and decide to move on to someone who sounds more sobre <---(come on editbots I know you are just itching to correct this!!) then it is totally up to them.

I do not want my readers to feel obligated, let alone, "keep" them like they are my pets who I take out once in a while and make them read my newly published hub. Speaking of published hub, I wonder if this one will get published.

To Break The Rules You Must First Master Them

The Magic of Bill Burr

When I write whatever it is I am writing, I don't like to go at one go. Sometimes I stop and I watch some videos to get some new ideas. Like if I watch a video, the new idea that comes it I will write on my hub that I watched a video and then start from there. Just like I am doing now.

So this time, I was watching a video on youtube of one of my favorite stand-up comedians of all time, Bill Burr. He is one of the smartest people alive, his thoughts and jokes are just so out there, and what I like about him is he makes you think. From what I can see, George Carlin definitely had a huge influence on him.

He had a special I think last year and one of the clips he talks about how so many famous people are being criticized about making racist remarks on the media, well I will leave it to Bill to explain it to you.

To be Continued.

Well its going to be around 1000 words as of this writing, although I don't know how long will it go. 10000 words? if it is 10000 words then hubpages was right, I am keeping you in my hub. It is saturday evening now where I am and I have so much free time you will not believe it.

As a man with a wife and daughter, you have no idea what free time means to me. Finding free time is like finding a real unicorn! Here I am spending my free time with you all, you people should be flattered. According to Google and Hubpages I am the one who should be flattered that you all are spending time with me. Just saying.

I was trying to find what is the opposite of conclusion just now, but I somehow could not find it. So instead I came up with To Be Continue as the title of this capsule. Enjoy.

So I guess I will be ending this hub, not with a note, but with a small tiny, little full stop.
