On this road

There are no

Regrets

There are no

Could have

Been

No turning

Around

And definitely

No going back

Ever/never

With so much

Going on

In my head

Looking

At that space

Up ahead.

Who wants?

To roll over now?

Lay down

Playing dead.

Some of us

Just need

A little help

From our friends

To see

The big picture

Help us focus

On whom we need

To be.

Let’s try

Repeating

This line

From what

The Bible said

Broad is the

Road

And wide

Is the Gate

Which leads?

To

Destruction

Though many are

Called

It’s but a few

That are Chosen

On this road

There are no

Doubts.

Been long ago

Cleared

Of obstacles

All debris

Again the Bible

Say

Jesus Christ

Died on the cross

For you and me.

Never deny

Yourself

The comfort

Of believing

It’s by your fruits

Others will see

We must never

Forget

How big a

Struggle it was

While

Being younger

We must not

Forget

To remember

Now that

We are older.

For there are

No excuses

On

This road!
