Tribute to Music ( a lyrical poem of inspiration)

Music of the opera, always so grand, so's the Grand Ole Opry, on the other hand.

Songs of Blues, please don't confuse, Soul's special rhythm, a downhome brand.

Rock and Roll, comes from the soul, Blues music from the heart, each a vital part,

Melodious Mexico's festive beat, military parades, its brass and drum. such an art..

Refrain:

Beautiful music comes from within us, melodies from our heart and soul,

It represents people and places, around this, our own world, it does extol.

Music is the universal language, always, receptive minds do comprehend,

Born of this earth, is reflective of the life and times, in its message to send.

Music comes from all people and is born of their culture...
Music comes from all people and is born of their culture...

The soul man bangs out a fine tune on his piano, makes us all to shuffle our feet,

The Blues singer strums on his flat top guitar, moving us with his heartfelt beat.

The piano sings, as a harmonica rings, telling a story, of its news, and hard times,

Guitar's notes all stream, from each fingered string, a moving tale told that rhymes.

Refrain:

Music from the country's great heartland, shows a feeling we can understand,

Be it a rhythm in blues to tell us the news, shared from a talented artist's hand.

A piano man's keys ring, in the dark of night to sing, calling out from the band,

Voice of a singer in our minds to linger, every note, its resonance, is spanned.

Singers words resonate, in our minds to linger...
Singers words resonate, in our minds to linger...

The opera's singer, in their musical oratory, speaks of a time of strife, and of glory,

Moves the audience with great arias, in baritone and in bass, as he tells his story.

Whether andante or allegro, as the conductor prepares the overture, tempo is set.

Musical dynamics to excite crowds of listeners, each bravo, its appreciation, met.

Refrain:

Beautiful music comes from within us, melodies from our heart and soul,

It represents people and places, around this, our own world it does extol.

Music, like a beautiful sunset...
Music, like a beautiful sunset...

Country music, contemporary, classical, outwardly expressed, visions of the mind,

Not to matter by who or where heard, a symphony, the finest sounds, we may find.

Great companion, music of our lives, no better life, as blessed by the lyrical kind.

Keeps us determined to succeed, carry on, gift of a benevolent god, in its design.

REFRAIN:

Beautiful music comes from within us, melodies from our heart and soul,

It represents people and places, around this, our own world it does extoll.

Funny you should say that, whonu. Every morning - without fail - I wake up with a song playing in my head and my subconscious singing along. It accompanies me while I go about my wake-up rituals.
