Tribute to a Loving Mom. For Mothering Sunday, May 10th, 2015
One day I woke as if from sleep,
Absorbed, imbibed your goodness deep.
A sudden Light from deep within,
Evinced a sweetness clearly seen.
Of course your leadership skills I’d known,
Strength and purpose that you’d shown.
Supreme direction always flowed,
With care as on a moonlit road.
I’d seen your diligence, savvy too,
Soulful concern and selfless you.
But now I see a loving flow,
A fragrant inner beauty-glow.
A life of care and graciousness;
A dawn-lit Consciousness rises; starts,
Sweet sacrifice a Mother’s Heart.
So dedication makes you serve,
Graced from above with God’s own Love.
As yon celestial’s minstrels lute,
You’re blessed with gifts of sound and flute.
And so my spirit flowed with glee,
Beholding virtues vast from thee.
Enabling a deeper view,
A precious sacred inner you.
O worthy one with Love’s own ray,
What can I say to you today?
‘cept with a bow, on knees I’ll stay;
Pay homage at thy feet this day.
