Tribute to a President (a poem of inspiration)
Thank you Mr.President for your dedication, is a just commendation,
You are a fine example of a family man, is evidenced in your devotion.
You serve as good advocate, a spokesman, of humanistic application,
This to be a demanding office, with a public's incessant aggravation.
Stressful times leave those signs, as in your facial lines, the greying hair,
Such pressures of office, takes its toll in the worry, of its wear and tear.
There's no better man, one to understand, more humble, actions, as fair,
Always to be seen in your expressions, of just how much you really care.
You're regarded, as an honest man, common problems you understand,
The voice of this nation, as a grand ovation, better relations in your plan.
Your upbringing, a testament, of the human spirit, a genuine compliment,
Our acknowledgement, your even temperament, in you, we're confident.
You are a protector of every race, and in your reflection, is a positive face,
You're presidential servitude, the future to reveal its magnitude, in its grace.
You're honorable, ours to fathom, speaking of freedom, your words of wisdom.
We may rest assured in your competence, having confidence, in your chiefdom.
We must confess, you have so blessed, this nation, a multi-racial consideration.
You've carried on, as time has flown, seeds were sewn, you're flower has grown.
The flowering spirit, shines so bright, helps us to find our ways in the darkest night.
A shooting star, meteoric in its flight, you've given us your best, with all your might.
