Are we to quick to point the finger?
What is it we really want?
Do we not understand life doesn't have to be this way?
It is is so easy to judge
Lets start again
Look away and see a familiar face
One that brought you so much joy for so many years
Why knit pick and find fault?
When we can laugh at the wonderful memories that are never forgotten
That get brought up from time to time
To see through the eyes that have such innocence when we were young
Instead of insisting that you are wrong and one of us is right
Let's shed a tear of light
Think back not to long ago when we were more than friends
We are bonded by blood and thank God for that
We can call each other out
Constantly tryng to play the game of war
When in the end we will both be losers
The winners would of found peace long before
Let bygones be bygones
The world has enough trouble without adding to the riff raff
Let's just try to say a friendly hi
Then move on from there to a how are you?
If that's far enough for now that's o.k.
We are in no rush today or any day
Who knows you might remember the love that once was ?
One that gave us a feeling of comfort
One that was never questioned
Even though we cross are t's and dot are i's the same
Our styles are so different and we will never be twins even though we carry the same last name
It is time to throw down are arms and a simple smile or hug is enough
The line that kept us apart is the same one that we are so willing to cross
You and I are here for many reasons
Each with different dreams and passions
It is time to bid farewell and wish the other the best of luck
