Tuning in to tone with Poetry
Tuning in to tune is the emotional atmosphere of the poem. It is happy, sad, satrical, it's something else, when it comes to my writing, Tone tell you a lot about the poet's feeling and lately my feelings been so muchy(:) I guess It's lonely months, October, November, December, and January, where we often feel so isolated, so I often try to keep my audience in tone, and mostly with my sense of humor and my irony.
This is a example of one of my moods..
I am so hurt
I woke up this morning
and what do I see,
You not rushing to greet me,
with one of your wet kisses,
or that sweet honest looks upon your face,
The art of losing isn't a master
however, losing you is a disaster,
Late at night, It's only you and I
into the wee hours of the morning
as ocean sounds swosh in front of me
Here you are hurting me too
I am so hurt.
I once lost a lover, recently my father,
my money, my umbrella,
even a best friend, guess I miss them
however, it wasn's a disaster,
You never said goodbye to me
my watery friend,
sorry, I never knew,
that you were in pain,
I beg of you to forgive me
I will delicate my favorite song to you
as I flush you down the drain,
My watery friend. "All alone again,
Since you say goodbye,
I will keep the water running for you,
Until your little soul reach the ocean
where you will find peace, and once again sparks
"All alone again,
Goodbye my fish, my fishy friend,
I found him floating in his tank this morning face down
My friend fishy eye.
