What Does Busy Mean To Me

This is a disclaimer:To all those that take me seriously don't.For all those that think I know more than the next girl or guy.I am not to picking any favorites as you can see.I still don't .I just love to write and I TRY MY BEST TO HAVE FUN WRITING about every subject under the sun.So please bare with me while I attack every problem with kind words and a little optimism.

P.S. I have been known to make a grown man cry (What do you mean making myself cry doesn't count) I guess you have to scratch that.Sorry I should of deleted that line when I realized it wasn't true.I mean how can another man make another man burst into tears ( unless I use tear gas) .Now that's an idea.I will have to try that sometime.What was I thinking.O.k. I have been known to bore others to tears.Well isn't that like making a grown man cry.In the end I did it my way.

When you call someone up and ask them to go out and they say they are busy

What are they really saying I have no time for....

We have priorities in our lives and first things first

Then everything somehow falls in somewhere behind that

When you call someone and the line is busy

We say I will try again later

Have you heard the expression busy as a bee

We have seen how hard bees work and they keep at it

Going and going they never seem to get done

I don't want to be like that

I like it when it's slow

In work when it is slow co workers all say I want to be busy

I think to myself why?

If we were getting paid (peice work)and the amount of money you make depends on how many pieces you produce I would say bring it on

But to work hard just because you have to just to keep from being board

I like to be doing something I love and then say I am busy

Like I am busy sleeping or enjoying my family

So I can put up the sign ( DO NOT DISTURB) like we have seen at hotels

No questions asked

Just understood

So for me I want to be busy doing all the things in life that make it special

That's when other people ask me I can't do that

I say why ?

Busy means you have no time for other things

Yes I have no time for sadness or stress or worrying if tomorrow will ever come

I want to be busy being quiet or relaxing

So next time when you are doing something

Ask yourself are you busy or just taking up space ?

If you are busy is it the kind of busy that you want or is it that annoying busy that you can never seem to catch up

Always rushing around to finish

Some people think if you are busy it is a good thing

Have you heard the saying Idle time is devils time?

So we are pushed into doing something we have to do

In work they always say If there are no customers keep yourself busy

Why not say if no customers keep yourself happy so when there are customers they will be able to see that you want to be here and they will feel they are glad they are here too

Just one more thought to think and wonder

Is it possible to be busy doing nothing ?

I heard that expression growing up

It is when you see others keep doing and doing and doing

I gave it one more doing for emphasis

Throwing the stress in there

That's what people like

But after looking at what they finished

I often wonder what did they actually do ?

They just made it look like they were busy

But nothing really got done

What a waste

When you look at what they did and say I could of did that a different way and been done an hour ago or in half the time

But then they say Why?

Then I would have to do something else

So I am keeping busy

Don't you see it this is the way to be they try to convince me

But why?

If I finish doing that task maybe I can rest or relax or maybe do something else

But I never want to be busy just doing nothing

I feel like I am wasting my time and my energy

So have fun with your day and if someone asks you are you busy

Simply say I am always busy enjoying life what is it I can do for you ?

They might look puzzled or walk away or even run

In the end just one more day taking the small things in life and make them memoriable
