Written in the Stars Poem

Source

Staring out into the night

Trying to hide the pain

The feel of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for

That which is greater that hunger

Wishing to know what love is

But it seems to come with much pain

The miles are getting longer,

The closer I get to you

Know that I try to tell you I need you

I know this love seems real

But I don’t know how to feel

I wish to know what love is

But it seems to come with much pain

Everybody wants to look in the mirror

And feel a little better

Everybody wants to tell someone their secrets

So why don't you tell me

The space between my fingers fit yours

I wish to know what love is

But it seems to come with much pain

That which fills my silent tears with pride.

This poem is about searching for love but not with all your heart due t the pain that it sometimes comes with....Nonetheless once you found your love you know its the best feeling in the world...

Hello richbrayan, I see you've touched on a universal theme here, unrequited love, or maybe just love. Love is such a mystery. It is well worth the effort to explore. Nice to read your best... Regards, snakeslane
