Existence

The children’s toys~

 Amass with love.

As marshaled belongings~

 Hold ties to memories.

Re-evaluating the steps walked.

Thoughts at one time~

 Were believed unmistakable~

Now reflecting stripped~

Grasping air imperative to heal.

Rousing to start afresh.

Advance to a new purpose?

What? I am not sure?

Serenity I’m confident~

 Will someday come.

And my Lord my Deity~

 Will be my only love.

But why "my Lord and my Deity"? Could you elaborate on the meaning of the last stanza?

The Touch Typist ~~The best way to explain I think is to give you this definition. deity [ˈdeɪtɪ ˈdiːɪ-]

n pl -ties

1. a god or goddess

2. (Christian Religious Writings / Theology) the state of being divine; godhead

3. (Christian Religious Writings / Theology) the rank, status, or position of a god

4. (Christian Religious Writings / Theology) the nature or character of God

[from Old French, from Late Latin deitās, from Latin deus god]

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deity [ˈdeɪtɪ ˈdiːɪ-]

n

(Christian Religious Writings / Theology) the. the Supreme Being; God

Wow everyone! Thank you so much! I am finally catching up on all your wonderful comments! The reason being I have not answered your comments recently and in a timely fashion is that I had no idea they were there, because maybe my notifications were set wrong? I do not really know? Yet I am hoping I fixed the problem by playing with the notification buttons. We shall see. But the main thing is that I can tell you how each one of your comments delight my heart and I truly appreciate them all. Have an awesome day everyone!

The Touch Typist I think the term could be taken as an ultimate being. GOD, Alfa & Omega.... I am hoping that answered your question?
