Poem: Flashbacks
When my soul met yours-
my heart dribbles quickly.
I need to catch up my breath slowly
then something flashed in a dash,
not knowing when it will last.
My out of this world fantasies rushed
to my memory that almost crushed.
Suddenly flashbacks came
clearly as the sun rays,
passing to my bewildered eyes
that soon began to care.
I see you and me in our golden hours,
sitting side by side,
laughing as words from our lips glide.
You treat me as a friend as I do
but my feelings betrayed me
like a sickness from a curse
I fall for you...
I love you sincerely
until it drives me crazy.
I tried to tell you
but you ignored it.
I said, I can wait no matter what
but you refused strongly
and worst…
you tried to avoid me eagerly.
As if, I am not existing.
I cry bitterly
with wine as my shield
just to hide the stub ‘til I sleep.
I insisted again
but answers from you
still a big question mark,
answers that I’ve been longing since then
that can make my heartache fades.
suddenly…
a whack landed on my nape.
hey! wake up!
images vanished in light
as my soul back
to my body
then a sigh came….
when will my dream of me and you
will be real?
