Poem via Les Miserables (spin off of Victor Hugo's poem)
He who does not weep, does not see;
Though I've cried so long, this soul seeks clarity.
Not for the understanding of what comes when last breath
we breathe,
but for the right to know another soul passed away in ease.
That I seek brevity, let no one cast iron stone
The night quickly fades
Yet, still, I am alone.
He who does not weep, does not see;
Lamenting, lambasting, ne'er life is promised
longevity
A friend's soft voice today
The echo of sorrow in the halls once they traveled
What is a man's fate, when before so selflessly
marveled.
Yes, I ask again to be enlightened from this pain
Morning has entered,
My soul balances on blustery winds.
Seek I the answer, give it to me with haste!
Leave me without sorrow
For these tears shall not be in vain
I am She who weeps, who sees and knows life's drenching
rain
When star and moon evolve as one entity
There shall I find my soul awashed in truth
Time will be the measure
Of my heart's undoing
But ultimately of its healing.
And to bed shall we put ~
He who does not weep.
For She will have shown He the answer lies in Eternity!
