The Meaning of Love is You; a poem

One of my favorite hymns when I was young and a Bible woman has these lyrics;

It takes a lot of love to make the world go round;

It takes a lot of kindness too;

It takes a lot of love to calm an angry sound;

To help wounded hearts to heal.

Lord give me love, give me kindness too.

Grant me Thy wisdom Thy will to do;

Help me to live by the golden rules.

Lord give me love.

Love is expressed in many ways. Love is very often the inspiration of songs and poems, short stories and novels. The drama in life revolves around love, regardless of what kind of love it is and whatever the end will be.

Love is a beautiful feeling so enjoy it while it lasts. Some love are faked; well, it's actually not love at all.

The following is another narrative that expresses the emotions of love in a certain time of my existence. In creating this I have someone special in my mind, and this is dedicated to him.

It Takes a Lot of Love...; Secured in Your Love

You are the focus of my life;

My vision of you is a candle in a windless night;

To my left is emptiness; to my right is but darkness;

Backward and upward are non-existing;

For my sight is steady and fixated to your direction.

The chasm between us is unreal; For I am connected to you in all my affairs;

My thoughts and actions are your "domination";

Everything I do,

I see,

I touch,

I hear,

I smell;

Lead to where you are.

I only live as your embodiment;

In thoughts, in words, in deeds.

Your virility mesmerizes me;

Your charm haunts me;

Your voice is an enchanting melody to my heart;

You are the essence that fuel my day.

You are the trunk;

I am your vine;

You are the kingdom;

I am your domain;

You are the force;

I am the vessel.

You are my reality;

To live for you and with you is my eternity;

Everything else reduces to nothing;

For you and I are entwined;

For you and I are secured;

In the world of bliss that's meant just for you and me.
