My Love A-waiting Below the Castle Turret
In subtle flowing words~
My love doth write~
My hearts desire.
Below the castles tower belly~
Stands shaded by the~
Encroaching English ivy.
I hear His whispered sweet words~
As I yearn for~
The Ultimate companion ever heard.
My hair of long golden locks~
I doth hold above~
A porthole of glistening sun~
As time doth clock.
My mane will not loose~
Until the prince of my~
Dreams is near~
I a-wait with humbled~
Crescent weeping tears.
I see the blue birds~
As they gather fodder.
Hindered not by~
Men’s folly they utter.
I fray not to play the fool~
No matter their~
Cunning tearing tools.
Songs of romance repeat ~
Encompass every living thing~
Yet my very being stays longing~
For mine own Prince Charming.
I know my golden Knight exist~
As I hold his letter~
Preserved to my heart~
With sugar breath~
It has been sealed~
Blotted by an undying kiss.
I weep as wolves do prowl below~
I search the field and~
Wild flowered meadows so.
The nights of howling echo loud~
As alone~
I pray~
“My love will come!”
Cold and damp this battlement feels~
As I caged weep my dear~
For you to find~
My steeple clear.
My friend~
My half soul~
My kindred mate~
“Where out thou?”
“Surely it doth grow-eth late?”
I fantasize you come~
And free my bonds!
I dream of you~
My Love awaiting~
Below the castle turret~
A cherished treasure~
I will love you~
Forever…
