Poems That Tickle My Feet XIV---Fishing With Uncle Larry
Fishing With Uncle Larry - By Pat Gillem
Gil and Uncle Larry went fishing, out on the briny sea,
whenever they were out fishing, they were as happy as can be.
It wasn't long before Gil caught a big one, and it yanked him out of the boat,
it pulled him out so fast, he didn't have time to grab his coat.
He was bounced off the coral, and towed through the kelp,
even if he had wanted to, Uncle Larry could not have helped.
It wasn't very long, until Uncle Larry was getting Frantic,
after about an hour, he was really starting to panic.
Finally Gil swam back up, and his head broke the surface,
Uncle Larry yelled," Man, I was was getting pretty nervous!"
Gil yelled,"you didn't have to worry, that fish was nice as he could be,''
" we were just sitting down at his place, eating cookies and drinking tea."
