This is not a love poem

This is not a love poem
I am not writing this to tell you
Nice. I'll try to rationalize this.
Love can't be lost.
She can only change shape.
Yes, she.

Lets put it this way:
If we were a breast, a nice one
We are pretty much fat man's belly right now.
That's right.

So don't call me
And this is not a love poem.
It's make-it-easier-for-me poem.
It's look-at-me-I'm-so-tough poem.
It's I'm-so-bad-at-trying-to-not-be-cliche-in-this-situation poem.
It's anything you want it to be
A love poem.

Welcome to the Hub community. I liked the irony inherent in the composition.

Interesting poem. I actually read it twice. The metaphor in the second stanza it great. The tone of it adds a touch of humor to an otherwise serious piece, but it says a lot about the state of the described relationship.
