Ins' Cucina: How to Prepare Pork Pochero de Cebu
Inspired by the best pochero I have ever tasted served by Abuhan Dos in Cebu
Ingredients
1/2 kl Pork (bone parts but you can add lean meat if desired)
2 tbsp oil
Onions
1tbsp Patis or Fish Sauce
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Red Bell pepper cut in strips
Sweet corn cut in desired size
4 cups water
Buk Choy or pechay
2 potatoes cut in quarter
Sauté onions and bell pepper. Add the meat, water, salt to taste, patis and pepper. Bring to boil until meat is tender. Add potatoes and sweet corn. Cook at low heat. Add bukchoy or pechay before turning the heat off. Serve hot.
