The tools that come with the Steam Pocket allow you to easily just about every area of your home without having to use harsh chemicals that can be hazardous to you and your family. You can easily switch between the tools when moving from one job to the next.
The Direct Spray Steam Bottle is great for cleaning around your sinks, stove tops, and other areas when dirt and grime like to hide. You simple spray the area with the steam and wipe away the mess that the steam has loosened and removed. Because the steam is extremely hot it is best to use caution to reduce the risk of burns while cleaning.
The Wedge Cleaning Tool and the Wedge Pocket was designed for cleaning a variety of different surfaces. It works best for surfaces that are large and flat. The absorbent microfiber fabric helps to loosen, lift, and lock in dirt while sanitizing the area at the same time. This tool also works by fitting into tight areas and also can form around objects such as; doorknobs and faucets to provide a more thorough cleaning for those hard to reach areas of your home.
The Cylinder Cleaning Tool and the Cylinder Pockets were designed to provide controlled cleaning and it easily reaches into narrow areas, around curved and contoured surfaces, and other fine cleaning activities. It comes equipped with an all purpose Detail Cleaning Pocket that provides good surface cleaning and absorbency. It also comes with a Steam Duster Pocket that reaches into tight spaces and narrow areas such as; air vents, window sills, blinds, moldings, etc. This pocket has "shaggy" fabric that allows for gentle use while dusting.
The Detail Scrubbing Brush Attachment is great for hard to reach areas and for breaking up heavily soiled and dried on messes. It is great for loosening scum build-up on the tile and grout in your bathroom.
The Garment Steamer Attachment is great for freshening upholstery and other large items with fabric that can not be placed into the washing machine. It is also used for removing wrinkles from clothing, drapes, and other fabrics in your home.
My Review of The Shark Portable Steam Pocket
I am totally satisfied with my steam pocket. I find it easy to use and it allows me to quickly clean and sanitize different areas of my home. I find it especially useful for sanitizing my children's' toys especially during the cold and flu season. It is much easier to clean the toys with steam rather than soaking them in bleach to kill any bacteria that may be present.
The only tool I found that does not work to well is the squeegee pocket for windows and mirrors. I find that it does not completely clean the surface and it tends to leave streaking "dirty" marks behind. This can be a negative result based on the user, the user being myself, or it just doesn't work as it is intended to. Overall I am completely happy with this item and would recommend it to everyone who wants to simplify their cleaning and decrease the amount of chemicals used to clean their home.
