So what's the big hype about lamps? Well lamps actually plays a vital role in our society, they ae used for illuminating, help us guide our way in the dark and makes rooms look stylish and more homely but to name a few!

Everyone loves a nice lamp around the house and I am no exception, I am always inspired by the different designs, technology and classic feeling they provide.

Let me shed a little light on this subject, from living rooms, to bedrooms, to bathrooms, to kitchens, from classic, to contemporary, to modern, your will find contained within, many elegant lamps that are smooth, easy on the eyes and ever so appealing. Enjoy!

Living Room Lighting

You have to admit a nice lamp does make all the difference to your living room, whether it's floor lamps, ceiling lighting or table lamps, choosing the right lighting will make all the difference.

Create that special area of the room that's just perfect for all your activities, such as reading a book, playing games or enjoying those peaceful moments, or merely showing off those prize possessions with a few spotlights strategically placed over a nice picture or ornament, no matter what! just remember that there's more to lighting up your living room than placing a few lamps on a table!

The Lite Source Remigio displayed above is a nice elegant and classy table lamp, with a black shade and a black leather base, this is certainly an eye opener and a topic for discussion and certainly demands a commanding presence in any room! I have to admit it, I really like this one.

Finding the right ceiling fixture for your living room can be a headache! I know, I went through the process when moving into my apartment. Overhead lighting can make a statement, whether you have a large room, small room or just low ceilings, adding new lights is a way to impress your visitors while adding fresh style and class to your home.

Some Bedroom Lighting Ideas!

If your anything like me, I use my bedroom for more than just sleeping, I know Feng shui experts will probably disagree with me but, until I can afford to move to a bigger place I must make do with what I can. So now we have that out of the way and you now know that I don't just use my bedroom for just sleeping in, It's pretty essential that I choose my bedroom lights wisely and to do that I consider all the activities that take place in this little bedroom of mine!

Understanding that the darker the bedroom is the better, however, think about all that you do! your lighting in this area can range from bold to dimmed to dramatic, so think about it before you go out spending a lot of money on lighting of which may not meet your actual needs.

Check the size of your bedroom, and where electrical outlets reside. Consider the height of ceiling, if you have the computer up and running or read books then your looking at direct lighting.

Avoid lights directly above the bed, they are just going to annoy you when under the covers reading etc. Don't go placing large number of lights in the same location, too many is not nice and will give you that glaring feeling!

Bedside lamps are a must for book lovers, and the more control you have over the light the better, get one with a dimmer switch, make sure you cannot see the bulb directly and while your at it, why not add a swivel arm to the lamps, certainly gives you a lot more flexibility! Apart from that, think about your partner, there again, purchase one of the ilumi bulbs and I think all your problems will be resolved ;)

• Is my lighting bright enough so I can see what I am doing?
• Is there adequate lighting in my closets?
• Is there a table lamp on each side of the bed?
• What about your ceiling light! Do you actually have one?
• Is the light bright enough to establish the color of my clothing?
• Can I control and dim my light sources?
• And for the ladies - Is there adequate lighting for putting on makeup?

This is my guy, just look at all these options you are getting, and not a bad price to boot! All in all, a very solid and good looking LED lamp, would I recommend it, sure, especially since I have purchased one and am loving it!

Kitchen Island Lights

Whether it's Kitchen Ceiling Lights or Kitchen Island Lights, the lighting can be your best asset. Before you start hitting the stores or on-line shopping, much like your bedroom lighting, make sure you analyze the room and figure out what areas you need to light, think what you will be doing or what you would like to accomplish, think what type of lights will fit in, they may be simple ceiling lights or the ever popular undercabinet lights/recessed lights, tehre again if your looking at kitchen island or sink locations you may wish to have the more popular pendant light.

As your bathroom is no doubt smaller than your bedroom or living room you should consider space saving lighting, lighting such as strip lights, recessed lights, ceiling or wall fixture lights, these are probably the most popular at present.

So you know that strip lights are normally placed above or to the side of your mirror, helps with shadow reduction, where recessed lights and overhead lights are particularly nice for around shower and commode units.

Make sure you consider your bathroom decor and figure out what make, color and design of lights will compliment it, regardless of what you choose, you really should pick a finish that will blend in with all your other bathroom fixtures.
