Whittards of Chelsea Coffee Mugs, Teacups & Teapots
My Whittards of Chelsea Mug Is Used Everyday at Teatime!
Whittards of Chelsea coffee mugs, cups and teapots are beautiful. A teacup given to me by my sister-in-law is among my most prized possessions. It could be argued that it is preferred because of its color combinations which are exactly to my taste. It could be argued that the theme of the Queen of England is perfect for me because I love to travel and I have been to England. However, while those facts may be part of why I like this mug so much, I think it is important to add that this mug is the most comfortable mug I have ever held. It is perfectly designed for me to wrap my hands around it!
A Bit of Information About The Company, Whittard of Chelsea
Whittards was established in 1886 in London, England. The tea business was booming that year so Walter Whittard's timing was perfect. It wasn't long before the firm added coffee to it's inventory and, eventually, gifts. A quality firm, they believe in supporting fair deals for the farmer and still buy their teas and coffees from the producing estates. This gives the farmer a fair deal and the retailer the best product. The firm's mission statement is to "surprise and delight our customers with our passion for the very best tea, coffee and related gifts from around the world."

More Whittard Coffee Mugs - One-of-a-kind or limited mugs on eBay. Any of them would be great for my afternoon tea!
We have all wondered from time to time, what would happen if I broke my Queen mug. I have therefore searched for a mug identical to my mug because I use it so extensively, morning, noon and night and the risk of breaking it eventually is, we figure, high. Maybe one day, my mug will turn up on this list and I will be able to buy a second one for insurance!
Unable to find an exact copy of my beloved Whittards mug, I can offer you the following choices.
What would YOU do if you broke your favorite mug? - It finally happened. My favorite mug, shown at the top of the page, broke. I carried on but with a sinking f

Whittard Teapots From North American eBay Stores - Unfortunately, I am not privileged to own one of these teapots but you can be!
Searching for a mate for my Whittard of Chelsea teacup, has been totally unsuccessful. There are some Whittard pieces available on eBay in North America, but not too many. I have tried to feature ones here that you can order from within North America. The cost of shipping from the United Kingdom particularly of heavy and fragile china items can be prohibitive. However, If I ever find another one of my mug, I am bound to purchase it no matter which side of the Atlantic it is on!

Whittard of Chelsea Chatsford System Tea with Queen Teapot - Have your tea with the Queen!
The Chatsford System Tea with the Queen teapot is another great Whittard item, surprisingly like my mug! This teapot is a six-cup teapot and reads, "The Great British Brew" on one side and "Tea with the Queen" on the other. It features the Chatsford Filter System which is designed to make removing loose tea easier. Yes, it reads "Whittard of Chelsea" on the bottom! I think it is pretty neat...maybe you'd care to drop by for a spot of tea?
Whittard Loose Leaf Tea 1886 Blend - A blend of Assam and Keemun teas.
When we travelled to England after my sister-in-law introduced us to Whittard of Chelsea by giving me my treasured mug, we visited their outlet and purchased a couple of boxes of their teabags. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the best tea, surpassing even (dare I say it out loud) Canada's very own Red Rose tea! I guess we're going to have to return to London or we're going to have to try some of Whittard's loose leaf tea which is available here through Amazon!
This blend '1886' was named after the year when Whittard of Chelsea was founded. It was a booming tea year! That year, Indian tea exports overtook Chinese tea exports. This blend therefore features both Assam and Keemun teas reflecting the tastes of the time after which it is named.
