Breakfast is the key element for your day. You should already be taking a great vitamin to start everyday. Have you heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day-take advantage of it!! Breakfast should be the first thing you eat in the morning to. For breakfast you should eat a balanced meal. Eating a hardy breakfast first thing in the morning is starting your day off on the right foot. Breakfast is key to getting your brain active after a long night of slumber, giving you fuel to burn well on your hike. Eating a bowl of breakfast cereal will not give you enough energy to sustain you till lunch.

After breakfast you will want to take extra snacks along. Taking your own trail mix that you made is a great way to boost your energy. Breakfast bars are wonderful! Before buying any breakfast bars check to see that the first 3 ingrediants on the label is not sugar or you will burn out fast.
