"Happy are those who are strong in the Lord,

who set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem".

Psalm 84:5

As christians, we are just pilgrims here on earth. The world is not our permanent home. We should not live conveniently at home in this wicked world. While throdding the very narrow road of the Christian journey to the City of GOD, a Christian should set his/her heart on heavenly things, upon eternity, on the Glory of GOD.

The Christian walk on earth is like walking in the middle of a battlefield. It is filled with fierytrials. We should very very watchful and prayerful. We are always prone to be a casualty. But whatever happen, in order to endure we have to focus on the Glory of Heaven, where GOD is majestically enthroned. We must always keep in our mind, that no matter how difficult the walk is , it is just temporal. The world and all of the things that it provides are passing away, bound to end. It is a reality. We should rejoice indeed that we are among the called out ones.

GOD bless. GOD speed.

A pilgrim's home is elsewhere. He.She has the culture of where their headed not necessarily where they have been / are now. A Christian's home is with Christ!

Amen. I pray to remember this alway and seek what Christ provides. Help me Lord to stand in Thee and hold high Thy banner.

Very good hub Cristina327. It is a narrow road indeed, one that requires us to keep our eyes forward, on the Lord.

Great Hub Cristina. We should live this life like we are just passing through, not permanent residents.
