It is a prepaid card which is reloadable and can be used in online shopping securely with wide access to all MasterCard affiliates in the web and all around the world. Just like UnionBank’s EON Debit card, this card is so far the second card that is allowed to connect to Paypal. The difference between having EON and BPI ePrepaid is the processing fee. To have this BPI prepaid card, it costs P500 while Eon only costs P350. Both cards have no maintaining balance and will expire after two years. Application of both is fast approved too. While BPI is reloadable, funds on it can’t earn interest like that of EON’s. Also, you cannot withdraw funds from Paypal to BPI ePrepaid card. Cassy did you write that on top of the washing machine while it was spinning? LOL. I am just teasing. :P

This is a wonderful hub page, Fehl. Paypal is everywhere now. Even the hubs, like you say. We can get paid that way for the ads that we allow on our hubs, and it is an amazing invention. :)

I'm having my evening meal, and thinking of you, honey. :) xoxoxo

Hi Cheeky Cassy! Yes Paypal is so universal now. I use it on my other account earning dollars everyday like you guys. :D Cheers! Your fingers are tired they need a massage I think. lol (me teasing too)

Hi Cathy babe! Oh baby, that’s so funny. You need my kisses coz I agree with you. Heh. :)

Yeah Paypal is really helpful. I use it when I shop online too. I wonder do you use its referral thing? Good thing to earn bonus. ;) Paypal however can't be linked to lots of banks here. I think only UnionBank,. Landbank and BPI allow it. I asked Metrobank, they don’t yet. I better ask BDO too. Sorry for saying much..hehe Mwaaaaah!

What is that evening meal you’re getting? I wonder was I chatting to you that time? heheh I am so thinking of you.

Wow, referral thing? I think lots of banks here allow it too. Oh wow, 3 days ago... was sunday. LOL. Our meal was a big one, cos Gran was with us Sunday. We make a nice feast for her. :)

Were we chatting? Mwaaaaaaaaaah ^_^

I am thinking of you too, Fehl. :) XOXOXOXO

I love you for that. Damn, I can't help it..can I kiss you here? :p

Yeah, you can use a referral URL. When someone used it and singed up for Paypal account, you will earn some bucks when he/she transferred some funds from his Paypal account. I think it's on their official website. ;)

Oh can't remember if we were chatting but I know last night, we were um.. chatting and more, baby. :) Mwaaaaaaaaah! XOXOXOXO

BPI Express Teller cards can't be linked to Paypal account in the moment. They only officially announced the eprepaid card to do that role for now. I wish lots of banks have EON like Unionbank

I have my BPI Easy Savers card linked to my PayPal account and it has been working wonderfully for a year now though I get charged for Php150 for every withdrawal. I wonder if I will also be charged the same if I link my BPI ePrepaid card to my PP account.

I think EON only charge P50 per P7000 and below withdrawal. I'm surprised the BPI Easy Savers card can be linked to Paypal too. If I had known that sooner, I might have gotten one coz there's BPI bank near us than Unionbank which is so far away..

Hi, why do I always get this message whenever I'm trying to link my eprepaid card to my paypal?

"This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card."

I tried calling BPI, and then they said that they have nothing to do with paypal. need your help! :(

You cannot withdraw Paypal funds from ePrepaid card, you can only transfer them. Your card must have sufficient funds to shop online or anywhere it is accepted.

I'm actually successful with linking my BPI Express Teller card to my Paypal and tried sending money, however, I am now scared 'cause although it says on my PP screen that it has been "completed" my BPI account doesn't show any signs of it receiving an amount. Geez, *panic mode* I didn't even ask BPI about this. Thanks for info above by the way. I'll follow up if ever my withdrawal gets in. *crosses fingers*

It takes two days or so before the money will be credited to your local bank account here. Yes, Unionbank is cool as you can see your transactions from Paypal online.

Hi Fehl, Just wanted to add my two cents, in this case, maybe my .25 cents. I linked my BPI account with PayPal and I haven't had any problems with it. I have to reiterate though that PayPal deducts 50 pesos if the amount you are transferring is less than 7,000.00 PhP. And BPI charges 200.00 for every transaction. So that's a total of 250.00 PhP. All these are noted on your PayPal account. Once you have transferred the money to your BPI account it will also let you know when you can expect the money on your account. It says 3 days but so far I was able to get it in 2 days. Hope that helps. I did not know about the ePrepaid until your Hub but with my BPI account already available that seems so much easier. Your hub is very informative though so voted up and across, tweeted and shared.

Hi, Renee! Yeah they charge P50 for withdrawals below P7000. I use Unionbank's EON, they don't charge P200 for every withdrawal :) I get my money after 2 days too just like BPI. Thank you for sharing your Paypal experience with us :) I wonder if you are using a regular savings account? If you are, can I request a hub about that? :)

I think I can make a hub on that, since I am using a regular savings account though not just now I guess because I am writing on something else for my personal hub challenge. With you telling me that EON does not charge 200 PhP processing fee makes me think of renewing my Unionbank EON card though. No worries though about the hub, I will try to work it out on my schedule and link back to you. Thanks and hope I can make a good job on it, like you did on yours.

Yay! No worries too :) Take your time. With Unionbank EON, users must pay P350 though every year for the annual fee. I know you'll be making a very excellent hub about withdrawing Paypal via BPI savings account. Thanks for that. I will read it once it's published and link it here too :)
