10 Signs of the Decline of America

The Decline of America

Every culture since the beginning of man has shown the same behavior before falling. Lack of personal hygiene, disrespect for life, laziness, and esteeming individuality too greatly over the needs of society as a whole have all been precursors to the fall of Rome and every other culture. Here are 10 signs that let us know that America is far down that same road.

Pants on the Ground

When a bad fashion that shows men's underwear- sometimes dingy gray thrice-worn boxers- permits anything other than an immediate arrest for indecent exposure, that society is on the decline.

Ironically enough, the gangsta style of wearing the pantwaist down below the buttocks has helped police net more than one would-be criminal as he hopped to a stop with his ankles tied up in his pants.

Americans everywhere loathe this trend. When General Larry Platt Sang "You're lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground," Americans cheered and the song became an instant hit, just as American Idol judge Simon Cowell predicted.

Despite this, Americans continue to tolerate standing behind dingy gray boxers in line at the grocery store.

Tattoos

People are so boring and uninteresting today that they run out and get a tattoo- just to have a conversation starter. I am not lying when I tell you that I heard one co-ed tell another young lady that the ideal place to get a little tattoo "like a butterfly or something cute" is just on the hip, just below the waistline.

"That way," she told the other girl, "If you meet a cute guy in a bar, you have an excuse to pull down your pant waist just a little and let him know you're interested."

Even in movies, one character tells another "We need to get you some more tattoos. You know, add a little more character." The conversation was about tattooing his friend's face.

The character that is added by skin ink is all bad. The guy who bagged my groceries one day was tattooed up to the neck. The writing was impossible to decipher and the large diamond-mandala on the left side of his neck was completely filled in with color.

As he angrily swiped my items over the scanner, I began to regret that I chose his line and that he was now handling every one of my food items. "Can demons transfer in this way?" I wondered. (Translation for New Agers: "Can negative energy transfer in this way?")

Is there a study on tattoos and morality? I bet there is a strong correlation. How do hiring managers feel about tattooed people? What effect does a tattoo have on average annual salary? I bet it is also a positive relationship.

Do not get tattoos, people. If you already have them, do not get any more. And, go as soon as you can to get tested for Hepatitis B and Hep C, too. These are spread 9 times more to tattoo'ed people than to needle using drug addicts. Hepatitis can silently cause damage for years before being noticed.

Texting While Driving - with a Child in the Back

You have probably seen this: a car up ahead is moving 5 to 10 miles an hour below the highway speed limit. You change lanes to pass.

As you pass, you glance over and see him looking down, with the blue tint of a phone screen reflecting off his face. I saw that one night on California's highway 99 South.

In the back seat of this red Honda, a little blonde ponytail was bobbing around in a car seat. She looked to be having an important conversation with a small doll in her hands.

I hope they arrived home safely, and that dad will learn to prioritize. Teeny-tiny irresponsible risk with car, precious-cute daughter, self, and other drivers supersedes getting a text out right now instead of a few minutes later.

Do the math, dad! Life is precious.

Texting in the Theater

Yes, even texting during the previews is a real selfish move, teen rebel. We know the supragalactic importance of knowing, lol, what Josh did at the game, omg! But, courtesy and respect for others is also an important life skill.

That's right, I said asset. Part of the strength of American culture is respect for our elders and for other people.

We learn from those who went before us. That is how we save ourselves from repeating the same mistakes that life offers to all teens: drunk driving, ditching class (too much), shirking in your studies, and yes, even disrespecting someone else's enjoyment of a preview in the theater.

All the above actions can have a negative impact on your life. Yes, someone got shot this year for texting in a theater. Before texting existed, in 1997, I saw three men beat up another man in a Philadelphia theater for talking.

When people just don't care enough about others to serve themselves first, especially in a tiny thing like waiting to text until after a movie, how can they be expected to lay down their life defending the nation against tyranny?

The answer is, they can't. Part of the reason Rome fell is because the actual Romans considered themselves too important to serve in the military. When Rome was desperate, the foreigners filling the ranks simply went home to their countries of origin.

That is happening today. Many foreigners serve in the military. I have no problem with foreigners serving. But, we have plenty of Americans. Where are they? Answer: busy with their own needs first.

Acceptance of Homosexuality & Sexual "Freedom"

Now, before those who love to debase Christianity, and blame them for the ills of the nation sound off, let me tell you: you are also part of the problem.

What a wise man will tell you is this: When a nation begins to reject what is right and proper for living, living itself begins to unwind. At a point, the natural order itself (We call this God Almighty) sends a force to destroy the problem.

Even the nation God loves best, the apple of His eye, Israel, has been destroyed when the commandments of God have been forsaken.

We all know that God destroyed Sodom & Gomorrah for homosexuality, adultery, and unrestrained heterosexual sex. That is correct: it is not just homosexuals putting us in disfavor with God, it is also a cultural failure to look away and say nothing when 16 year-old Billy goes with 17 year-old Susie to the prom and they lose their virginity because that is what Hollywood told them should happen on prom night.

So, without shame, I tell you that I hope and pray for everyone bound in "Do what thou wilt" sexual "freedom" will be set free with the truth: God wants you to be pure. This means putting God's way first in everything, including sex.

Note 1: "Do what thou wilt" is the predecessor of "If it feels good, do it," and is the one and only commandment of the Satanic Bible.

Note 2: sexual freedom, as the hippies call it, is actually a kind of bondage. Think about it. Those who live the sexual freedom life spend their hours and days looking for "Mr. Right" by sleeping with a succession of men, and then writing sad poetry after devastating break-ups.

Some get diseases that affect all subsequent relationships. Others get diseases that kill them. Many (including men) get raped, beaten, and robbed.

Those who walk in purity, waiting for God to choose a spouse, are far safer.

Indifference

An old adage says, "Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything." With increasing socialization in schools, and less and less development of personal strength through competition, our youth are becoming less and less individuated. If everyone is special, no one is special, a cartoon villain once said. When I was in high school, most kids knew what they wanted to be and who they were. Today, most kids just know who that don't want to be: intolerants, homophobes, Republicans, Christians... Those kids don't get invited to parties.

America needs competition, strong leaders, strong organizers, strong inventors, and strong families. These things do not result from passivity. They are hands-on endeavors. The youth today are not weaker or less gifted than we were (ignoring effects of Fluoride and vaccinations). The scholastic process needs to return to the core of what strengthens them by challenging them: academic opportunity and competition, leadership opportunities, clubs, and sports. Fewer and fewer youth seem to care about what has made America strong.

Abortions

An entire 5 semester hour college course would only brush the tip of this mammoth topic. In brief, abortions are a serious sign of a dying culture.

The future is in the dumpster in the alley.

Disgusting.

Lack of Knowledge

Although knowledge is increasing, no one is using it. When they do learn some information, it is to impress, not to perform.

Europeans often comment that Americans are very superficial. We know a lot about many things. Our knowledge is very surface-apparent, but very limited.

For example, people think they know about Buddhism because they know someone who knows someone who met the Dalai Lama, and because they can use the word "karma" correctly in a sentence. If you think you know Buddhism, tell me, have you heard of dark Buddhism? Buddhism has a left hand path as well as a right hand path, the goody-goody one you see portrayed in movies. If you think you know Buddhism, read the book "Jesus, Jews and Jihad" by Marvin Yakos. He studied with the greatest masters of Buddhism in Tibet. After 18 years, he realized there is no such thing as nirvana. He left, and a dozen others also left. Of them, he was the only one who survived the assassins sent out to kill them all.

Do you know that Obama, Dick Cheney, and George Bush are cousins? They are. Do you know that all of them attend the annual Bohemian Grove ceremony to worship Molech (a demon) and to perform a live sacrifice of a real human? They do.

If you are "Pro Choice", do you know that 75% of all Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are in minority (African American and Hispanic) neighborhoods? Did you know that Planned Parenthood was started by the racist Margaret Sanger? She did. After she failed to pass a Senate Bill (she could not get a sponsor) to limit blacks to just one child per family, she turned to Plan B: kill the babies as they come. Effectively, Pro Choice supports genocide of blacks and Hispanics. That is called "lack of knowledge."

And, yes, a baby will live, just like any other human, until you kill it. Ask yourself, if a pregnant woman loses her baby in the 8th month when a drunk hits her car, is it manslaughter? What about the 7th month? 3rd month? At one week?

"My people perish from a lack of knowledge." Do you know who said that?

Entitlement Philosophies

A large society can and should help those who cannot help themselves. We should help foreigners who travel in our land. We should help widows who have no family to help them.

A society begins to collapse when it runs a deficit to give away money to those who could work, but, as Bartleby the Scrivener said, "prefer not to."

Hard work produces a successful person, a successful family, and contributes to a successful community and nation. We are entitled to the things the writers of the Constitution wrote down, and we are entitled to the things God promised to us. Anyone who attempts to break that is fighting against Life, and is going to lose (it takes longer for oppressors to lose when indifference is involved, see above. If it takes too long, they actually succeed and nations fall.)

Calling Good Evil and Evil Good

In today's culture, many things that are good, and produce strong individuals and strong societies, are called evil. Competition, in which some lose and some win, but all become better, is now called evil. Promoting family, which ensures the greatest care and love for children, is now called evil. In California, all vocabulary terms related to family were removed from school text books. "Mommy", "mother", "father", "family", and etcetera are removed by law. California Senate Bill 777 banned family terms and mandated pro-homosexual teachings.

Family, evil. Homosexuality, good.

Destruction: Coming Soon.
