MARKING IT'S THIRD ANNIVERSARY - A POLISH COMMUNITY IN MOURNING
April 12, 2010
My life partner and I live in a predominantly Polish neighborhood in Queens, New York.
The death of the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria, and other government, military, and church officials has deeply affected those that live here.
Yesterday, with my digital camera, I took images of how some residents here are publicly displaying their grief. And a week later I took a few of the NYSE on Broad Street in Manhattan.
Below are twenty-five images, although I took many more.
To get a good look at them one at a time, press the See all 25 photos button on the first photo.
