Butter Comes to Breakfast

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Sunday, November 13, 2016. Our dear friend, Butter, has asked for the pleasure of our company at the breakfast table this morning She has some thoughts about the last eight years and the past few days that she would love to share with us. She is preparing buttery waffles and lattes for our pleasure. Let's join Butter as soon as possible. The lattes are hot and the door is open.

A Nation at Odds

Thank you all for coming to the table this morning. Our nation has experienced an epic turn of events. The Clintons fully expected to be back in the White House in January. After all, they were the anointed ones. They were above the law, above consequences and above accountability. Everyone was in their corner, or so it seemed. President Obama pushed for her election, not out of love for our country, but out of love for his legacy. I have never been sure what his legacy might look like, because the only thing I can see is that he managed to dismantle our nation and tear us apart. He and his people were pushing for a Civil War from the moment they stepped into Washington. He and Hillary kept pointing out how un-presidential Trump was. I wonder, is it presidential to return the bust of Winston Churchill to our English ally in order to please you father? Is it presidential to invite the Prime Minister of Israel to the White House and leave him floundering while you left to have dinner with your family? Is it presidential to invite the Dali Lama to the White House and make him enter by the rear door where the trash cans are stacked? None of these actions are presidential. All of them are unbelievably rude and low rent. Our nation has been divided for the last eight years because certain people like President Obama, Al Sharpton, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Valerie Jarrett, George Soros and the entire Democratic Party wanted it that way. Let's not forget the toxic role the MSM played in all of this. With chaos comes change. The change it brought encouraged violence, hatred for the police and contempt for the rule of law. I believe their efforts have been foiled by the American people. By electing Donald Trump president we have begun to drain the swamp. The American Revolution is in play. and it spells better times for our country and our people.

Fanning the Flames

It is time for President Obama to take responsibility for what he has unleashed in the streets. There is a major difference between peaceful protests and violence. His silence is inexcusable. He spent the last eight years speaking out when he shouldn't have. Now it is time to ask for calm. It is also time to start arresting these thugs who are being paid to tear up the streets. There are many forces at work here. Funding for these losers is coming from George Soros, Michael Moore, Al Sharpton and a left-wing charity organization with unknown sources of money . The Progress Unity Fund is a tax-exempt organization whose stated mission is to provide a progressive alternative to mainstream charities. It might be a good idea to investigate this dubious group at the same time as the Clinton Foundation. The elements in our nation that feed off of division have to be marginalized in the Trump years. We don't have time for this garbage, we have lots of work to do.

Source

Snap Out of It!

Those who have chosen to react to this election by having nervous breakdowns don't have my sympathy. Facebook is a flurry of activity with people de-friending each other by the millions. Take heart Facebook friends, none of these people were really interested in you, and you certainly weren't friends. As for the cry babies on campus, I have no pity for you either. You may have the academic ability to attend colleges and universities, but many of you have the emotional growth of infants in daycare. Schools that encourage students to hold cry-ins, skip midterms and walk around with service dogs are an embarrassment to this nation. Your candidate lost, now grow up and move on. A word to the wise as well, this kind of stupidity will never land you a job in the real world. It might be wise to avoid having your photograph taken while wailing like a baby. It may come back to haunt you in the future. You bear no resemblance to the thousands of young soldiers your age who stormed the beach at Normandy in order to keep the world free. That swamp President Elect Trump wants to clean out is much bigger than Washington. He will probably need more equipment!

Butter's Song

This land is your land

This land is my land

Now simmer down

And look forward to a new dawn!

Progressive liberalism is a menace to freedom as is the scourge of political correctness, which is designed to limit free speech. We must also rescue our young men from those who are actively emasculating them.

America has spoken. We've had enough!

Good Morning Will,

Yes, America has spoken and for the first time in eight years I feel hopeful and strong. See you at the Inn. It is time to celebrate our success.

Pop and Butter,

Oh happy day. Why is it that every time the liberal, progressive crybabies lose and election they throw a tantrum? Soros and his ilk should buy them a "participation" trophy and tell them to grow up. I'm sick of the crying, rioting, threatening and bullying of the loony left every time they aren't mollycoddled.

taxlarry 3 weeks ago

Happily, only about 70 days left until Obama is out. He is still the low rent incompetent jerk he has been for the last 8 years. He should be telling the rioters to chill and go home. But that probably would not go over well with his "admirers." And why aren't those big mouths who threatened to move to Canada if Trump won on their way to the airport? Having them leave would go a long way to help drain the swamp.

While I voted third party, (voting for an honest man was important to me) I can hope he rises to the occasion and duties the office presents. In triumph it is wise to remember that we do not elect kings or queens, so let's hope he can bring folks together and make the next four years a success.

It's shameful how we have become a tantrum society. Don't get your way in an election, then stomp off to Canada, start riots, burn flags. All I can say is these people don't love their country. Call me a waambulance.

Dear Tom,

The rioting is planned and disgusting. The crying is insane. I don't think these college kids are ready for college. They need to re-d0 elementary school. Hopefully, once there they will learn that some people win and others lose and then life goes on. See you at the Inn.

Dear taxlarry,

They changed their minds. Apparently, it is too cold in Canada and their thin skin couldn't handle it. I am disappointed. I would even offer to drive them to the border. Oh well, instead I just won't watch their movies or shows. See you at the Inn.

It's no longer baffling that "some" ( we know & they know WHO they are) simply cannot get it through their one-track minds that pretty much all of us made the choice between 2 clowns placed in front of us...and went for the less dangerous, evil & corrupt. It's highly possible many of us didn't vote at all but just kept our fingers crossed! Then the rest of us refused to vote for a thug with a 30 yr record of corruption (yes, we know she beat the system, ....we also know we don't need the judge to slam a mallet to SEE the truth)

Many of us freely admitted to being sorely disappointed in both...very unsure and with continual vacillating, whether right, wrong or indifferent. Hello? where were these crybabies hiding back then?

There is even a refusal to accept that the new stats, calculated, audited and validly documented are that DT, in FACT, also won the popular vote. sigh.......on & on & on they cry, whine, protest and let's not forget the severe lashings of insults. (which I'm expert at ignoring although somewhat amusing.)

It's become most evident, the loudest, nastiest & most vocally "disappointed" are the group of nouveau-politico whom prior to this election could not have named a single leader of any Washington Dept, nor their purpose, party or records....never voted, read the news, followed a politician nor could tell the difference between an Independent, Libertarian, Repub or Dem & certainly not their platforms. These lost little souls are just looking around and mimicking what the schmuck next to them is doing.....(kinda like I do when watching football!) Well, what is it folks? Have you just awakened to the fact that politics is a GAME~~or perhaps a different sort of animal? Get with the program. The only ones who should disappoint you are YOU....yourself.

Dear Hmrjmr,

What a delightful surprise to see you at the table. I hope all is well. As for the country, I am thinking this may just work out. Trump is already surrounding himself with good people, and unlike Obama he does listen. See you at the Inn. I would love to catch up.

Dear lambservant,

I wonder if they will cry when there are more jobs, lower taxes and a better infrastructure. The rioters won't care because they are already working as rioters. The cry babies might just wipe their baby tears away, if they benefit. See you at the Inn.

breakfastpop profile image

Dear fp,

All the crying in the world wouldn't have changed the fact that we had two candidates and we needed to choose one. I am shocked at how many people I know said they weren't going to vote. Of course, if they don't vote they are actually voting. In any case, it is time to move on. Maybe something positive will emerge from all the hand wringing, de-friending and whining. The funny part of all of this that the crying babies and the molotov flinging thugs are all ignorant. Ask them who Joe Biden is and they draw a blank. I , on the other hand, feel pretty good, and it is about time. See you at the Inn.

These democrats just cannot see how they are being used because Trump stepped right into the middle of what Obama thought would continue with Hillary; and of course it would have. I am so happy to know that more than half of us want America back and did something about it! But of course the left will not make it easy and if Obama can scam a way to continue his killing of America he certainly will, anyway he can.

Good morning Pop and butter.

I think the protests started because Hillary supposedly won the popular vote. Now that Michigan has finally reported it seems that Trump has actually won the popular vote and the Electoral College. So does that mean the protests will stop now?

Are those who are paying these protesters withholding the proper taxes from their paychecks and matching their SS deductions dollar for dollar? I would imagine they are paying them in cash which is against the law.

I often wonder why those who would prefer life under Socialist or Communist rule don't just move to a country where this is already a way of life? Why spend so much time and effort trying to convert this country to their preferred lifestyle? I guess maybe because they would have to leave their parents basement and would lose their allowance?

I would hope this will all blow over once the Media quits paying attention to them and moves on to some real news.

Thankfully, the people with common sense, and no fear of reprisal from haters, voted for Trump. It was a process for me, but in the end I did the right thing and gladly voted for him too. And it felt great!

But I digress. There is hope for America once again. The hardworking people of America have taken their country back. We let those in office know that they work for us and not the other way around.

The liberal elitists, who have such contempt for everyday working stiffs such as myself, can whine all they want. They lost the election due to their arrogance, and I thank the Lord above that he gave our country another chance.

And Butter, you forgot to mention the play doh and coloring books that some Universities are doling out to the "traumatized" students who are just too sad to go to class and take their exams. Boo hoo. Maybe Harry Reid and late nite television show hosts should pick up some play doh to help them calm their frayed nerves as well.

I truly believe that after Trump is given a chance to make some changes, even those who hate him will appreciate what he is doing for them.

To me this election was probably our last chance to save this country from sinking to the depths of yet another Socialistic failed attempt. Many will never know how close they came to losing so many of their hard won freedoms.

BPOP, you say "By electing Donald Trump president we have begun to drain the swamp"

You know I want to believe that but I watched Trump's interview on 60 minutes tonight and when he was asked about hiring and independent counsel for Hillarys email scandal he said they are "nice people" and he doesn't want to hurt them. Can you believe he said that? He could have said nothing, he could have said there are ongoing investigations, let's see where they lead, he could have said a dozen things better than they are nice people I don;t want to hurt them.

Really, the path he is on about them is not a good one and this is why:

Hello Butter and Pop,

I have to say that the President Elect seems to be moving along as fast as he can to form his cabinet, to drain the swamp, and to address many of the issues that have been ignored for the past 8 years. These do nothing, cry babies protesting in the streets don't want to hear anything positive taking place right now. They are cowering fools being manipulated by the old and destructive monied power brokers. If they would just stop wailing and listen and watch to what is being said and done, they just might go home and resign themselves to the fact that the change ahead might benefit them too. If not, no one is stopping them from crossing our borders !

Good Morning Jackie,

It is clear now that people can make a difference. That unique possibility took the elites and the media totally by surprise. I feel great about it, I really do. We finally have a chance to get some important work done. I have to laugh at all Trump's critics. They were supposed to head for Canada, but now they say it's too cold! I almost fainted when I heard that the editor of the NY Times apologized for lousy reporting. I guess their readership is way down. I am proud to have dumped them. As for those that are not afraid of communism, way too many millennials are okay with the concept. This generation hasn't a clue about the reality of living under communism or socialism. They have been dumbed down beyond recognition and their value as productive members of society is equal to their stupidity. Oh well, for now I think there is light at the end of the tunnel. Hola Amigos....This was shared with me so I'm sharing with you. ...

What has Trump done??

Last night a friend claimed that Donald Trump wouldn’t make a good president; he is brash, he is racist, he is a loudmouth; you know the normal things people learn to recite after being programmed by television news.

The one I loved was that, “Trump is arrogant.”

My friend questioned if one man could make “that much difference in the world today.” To my friend's credit, she was respectful enough to let me respond when she asked, “Really, what has Trump done?”

I said, “In June of last year, Trump entered the race for president. In just a little over a year, Trump has single handedly defeated the Republican party.

He did so thoroughly. In fact, he did so in such a resounding way that the Republican Party now suffers from an identity crisis. He literally dismantled the party. Trump even dismantled and dismissed the brand and value of the Bush family.

Trump has Obama petrified that Trump will dismiss programs that weren’t properly installed using proper law.

Trump has single handedly debunked and disemboweled any value of news media as we knew it—news now suffering from an all-time level of distrust and disrespect.

Trump has leaders from all over the world talking about him, whether good or bad. Trust me, powerful men who have been president before weren’t liked by the global community. I doubt Mikhail Gorbachev liked Reagan when Reagan said, "Tear down that wall."

Trump has expressly disclosed the fraud perpetrated on the American public by Hillary Clinton. He has, quite literally, brought Hillary to her knees—if you believe that nervous tension and disorders offer physical side effects and damage.

Trump has unified the silent majority in a way that should be patently frightening to “liberals.” As the press accuses Trump of being a house of cards, Trump has proven the press is the real house of cards. He has whipped up the entire establishment into pure panic. Trump has exposed them for who they are and worse, what they are. George Clooney was right when he said Trump draws live news coverage of his podium that he’s not yet approached. Thanks, George, you were perfectly correct.

What we see as headline news today are actually the last bubbles from the ship that is now sunk—meaning the standard news media, as a propaganda machine, has been exposed. They have no more value.

In the same way Trump asked the African-American community this question, I asked you my friend, ”At this point, what do you have to lose?” We have mass cop shootings, riots in our streets, ambushed cops, double digit inflation, bombs blowing up in our cities, targeted police, a skyrocketing jobless rate, no economic growth, privately owned land being seized by the federal government, the worst racial tension in my lifetime, no God in schools, more abortions than ever, illegal aliens pouring into our country, sick veterans receiving no care, and a debt that doubled in seven years to $19 trillion. Are you really happy with the condition of the current system?

One man has done all of this in one year—one guy, and on his own dime. And with everything I’ve written above, you believe Trump hasn't done anything? You claim that you are afraid of Donald Trump? No wonder we’re in trouble.

You can say that Trump is a lousy presidential candidate. That’s your right. Just don’t ever say he’s not effective.

That Megan Kelly, FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Huffington Post, the New York Times, Raleigh’s News and Observer, the AP, Don Lemon, Jake Tapper, and many more, failed to implement their collectively orchestrated lie on the American people against Trump, is actually a massive testament to Trump. The press colluded pure propaganda to accomplish his demise … and they have collectively failed and miserably.

Here's just one example of how badly America is injured right now. There are high school football players on their knees during the national anthem simply because the press used as propaganda to program those kids to do that very thing. But, these kids are mimicking NFL stars the same way the same kids choose which brand of football shoe to purchase—they're overtly brain-washed to do that very thing.

Now, we have a generation of children who hate America.

America’s problem isn’t that little children are on their knee in collective disrespect of America. Our problem is that America is on her knee from collective disrespect by Americans.

You can disrespect America all you want. But, it’s high-time you respect the silent majority. Because they’re not simply the “silent majority” as you’ve been trained to believe when Hillary calls them “deplorables.” The fact is, they are simply the majority. And now they're no longer silent either. Donald Trump changed all of that, single-handedly and within one year."

LOL.....I see we may have the same reactions at times, Yves. As I read it, I kept repeating, "WOW!".....Seems to fit well.

I sincerely wish Mr. Trump well. I expect he will have expert, experienced and close advisors to get him off the ground and running. I hope also that he remains who he is, never becoming a "politician."

Truth of the matter is, his narcissism may be his finest motivator. He does not like failure and I believe he'll work furiously toward being successful in making America Great AGAIN! I'm still wondering what country some of the opponents were referring to when they claimed that America IS great !

No,, it was and we've always loved our country and been loyal and hopeful that it could be again. Our eyes are open. We are not the fools or dumbed-down hokies that the elite would LIKE us to be.

I'll be paying even more attention now than ever. It's got to work. We want our country back!

I foresee a future where someone says "It is hard to remember that you came here to drain the swamp when you are up to your ass in alligators".

And ...

About those spoiled brat reactions - you know, the ones where folks are acting like something terrible is going to happen to them because their favorite horse lost the election. They act like they fear retribution from the winning team. What is up with that? I’ve not heard anyone saying “nanny nanny boo boo, you lost, now we’re going to make you pay”. Nothing of the sort. In fact, quite the opposite, in many cases they are being praised for holding an alternative view, and being asked to work with the new administration.

So what is sourcing these expressions of fear?

Then it hit me. Perhaps they expect retribution. The expect retribution because that is what they would do if they had won. We’ve seen that example over and over in the past administration. Tax advantages, preferences, even their leadership marching the streets, gavel in hand, demonstrating about how they are going to treat the people they do not like, and even grading students poorly for not responding by rote to their idealistic rhetoric. What will they do when they realize their fears are all in their own closed minded heads?

What they fear is that the winners will do unto them as they wanted to do to the losers.

Grow up!

Good Morning Paula,

I want to echo that WOW! Your comment is brilliant and right on the money. Trump has already shed true light on the arrogance of the elite, and the bias of the media.I cannot believe that the NYT actually admitted that they were biased. It took Trump and the silent majority to make that happen. I hope politicians in Washington are running scared. I heard yesterday that Soros was meeting with Democratic donors to plot to take back power from Trump. They should all be arrested for treason. For that matter so should the mayors of Chicago and New York for declaring that they will not obey the law. Trump has a great deal of work to do to undo the damage Obama has unleashed on our nation. I believe he is up to the job. See you at the Inn.

Good Morning FitnezzJim,

Their fear stems from massive ignorance of what our nation stands for. I am not even sure they knew why they were voting for Hillary, because if they had a brain and a moral compass, their votes would have been cast for Trump. I didn't vote for Obama, nor did anyone I know, but we didn't take to the streets or run off to grab a binky and sit in the corner. We have a lot of work to do.
