WHEN PEOPLE HURT CHILDREN from sin to GOD
Megan Kanka would have been 30 years old in 2017.
Degrees of Sin
All sin is intolerable to God. In the spiritual realm the degrees of sin are not existence. There are just two sides and there are no greater sins and lesser sins, only sin. However, mankind regards sin in degrees and set laws and rules that regulate and govern offenses that are perpetrated upon others. Society frowns upon acts against children such as molestation and child murderers. Perpetrators of such acts are ostracized in society. Even in prison they are set apart from the general population of inmates and housed together in protective custody. When offenders prey upon the weak in society inhumane acts are shown. Nevertheless, magnanimity is seen when offenders are treated in a decent and humane order.
"Jesse Timmendequas, already convicted of two rapes of young girls, had recently moved in with two other convicted sex offenders across the street from the Kanka house. Timmendequas lured Megan into his house by offering to show her a puppy. After raping and strangling her, he put Megan's body in a chest and dumped her in a park. He confessed to police the next day. Her family maintained that had they known about Timmendequas' past, they would have kept Megan away from him. In 1994, New Jersey passed the first 'Megan's Law.' Federal legislation followed in 1995. Timmendequas' death sentence was commuted to life after New Jersey abolished the death penalty." (Quote from Scott McCabe)
Contempt and the Ultimate Act of Betrayal!
Satan has no regard for the degree of sin set by man. His main purpose is to kill, steal and to destroy. There are no shades of gray when it comes to the elderly or the weak and children. As a matter of fact, women and children are his favorite targets. Some cannot conceive of the horrors that many fantasize. There are many who are taken by demons and have no sign of humanity and others are whisked away for a moment by their own lusts which land them in prison for the rest of their natural life, subject to either regretful contemplation or to be eaten inside out by denial, confusion and guilt.
Missing the Mark
The sad reality is that all are born in sin, away from God’s grace and fall short of what God requires, even as beautiful babies. The word sin is taken from the Greek word Harmatano (264) which translated means, to miss the mark (and so not share in the prize) i.e. to err, offend and trespass.1 Sin entered the world through one man’s disobedience and was genetically passed to all that were born except The One: Jesus Christ, the only begotten of God the Father. For us to be pleasing to God all must come to the point of having faith in Christ to become blessed otherwise you are live separated from God.

Confronting Hypocrisy in Society
In society Satan is lurking to capture the innocent, many appears as wolves in sheep’s clothing. They are not interested in the well being of people but in self gratification. ABC’s Diane Sawyer reported on Jaycee Dugard a girl kidnapped at age 12 and held in captivity for 18 years. I was smitten not by the causeless evil of the pedophile but by the composure of Jaycee and her mother who remained hopeful and optimistic of a loving future along with two daughters fathered by the pedophile. The capture of the man who victimized Jaycee after stealing her from a loving family manifested the Hypocrisy by California D.O.C. who took credit for the capture (taking pictures and giving plaques). The 20 million dollars awarded by the state of California was not retribution but a ‘small-tip’ to the Dugard family as countless deputies and parole officers aided the pedophile’s escapades for years by not looking in the back yard, even when neighbors called saying “this criminal had children living in a shed in the back yard.” In reality two women campus police officers’ investigative work lead to the capture of the pedophile who is now serving over 500 years prison.
Reunited
Life is not a coincident and sin is not the course that you have to take. We missed the mark when we entered the world as babies. Yet, many have been given a lifetime to come to God, unlike those who were taken from us. It is a personal choice to die in the same spiritual condition as you were born or to be taken to another plane united with God and those that were victims to senseless crimes.
