Holder Won't Be Gone

Introducing Beetle Belle

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, November 17, 2014. We have a new friend joining us this morning. Her name is Beetle Belle and she hails from the South. She is loaded with charm and opinions and has asked me to invite all of you to join her for breakfast. She'll be serving Praline-Pecan French Toast. I'll be serving Irish Coffees. See you soon.

Who is Loretta Lynch?

Thank you all for coming this morning. Breakfastpop told me that you were not only brilliant, but also quite easy on the eyes. I do declare, she is right. Without further delay, let me jump right in here and tell you that I am very concerned about President Obama's choice of Loretta Lynch for Attorney General. The Senate should not, under any circumstances, confirm Ms. Lynch because if they do they will be reappointing Eric Holder. First, you should know that Lynch and Holder are friends. Anyone who could be Eric Hold's friend is no friend of mine or yours. She beats the "racism" drum whenever and wherever she can. Do we really need to continue on that doomed road to nowhere? Like Holder, she believes that school discipline policies unfairly target black students. Sound familiar? Ms. Lynch gave a speech in Long Beach, New York a mere nine months ago in which she stated that Voter ID laws in the South ( my south) are racist. Am I hearing a collective groan? I'm quite sure I am.

Let Your Outrage Be Heard

It is time to make some noise and shake up Washington. You must pull out your pens and your phones and tell Washington "NO". The Senate must be put on notice. The American people will not have their Justice Department run by someone who thinks America is rascist. The American people will not have their Justice Department run by someone who uses it to insure the rights of only one segment of our diverse population. The American people will not have their Justice Department run by someone who wants to keep our country on edge, angry and divided. We really have moved past things like this, but somehow President Obama, Attorney General Holder and Loretta Lynch didn't get the memo. Remind them, won't you?

Divide and Conquer

Loretta Lynch firmly believes that requiring Voter ID severely limits the ability of blacks to vote. Her reasoning, just like Holder's, is flawed. If she is appointed, this movement to divide America will continue. The argument is insane and any attempt to defend it is an attempt to weaken the sanctity of the vote. Every American, regardless of skin color, should be outraged and insulted by this stance. If African-Americans can't produce a Voter ID should they be required to produce an ID to drive? This position is riddled with lies and false assumptions. Haven't we had and heard enough of this kind of thinking? Loretta Lynch sees a racist in every corner. Her speeches are ridded with the belief that blacks are under siege in America and that the Justice Department exists to make sure they are treated fairly. The last time I checked the Justice Department was charged with enforcing the laws of the land fairly for all Americans. Loretta Lynch won't make that happen. She will be Holder's puppet. We all deserve better.

What do you expect from this administration? Things won't improve until Obumma is out and the demorats are out of the White House. Until then, things will not get better.

Good Morning taxlarry,

By then it will be too late. If a Republican takes the WH it will take 8 years just to undo the damage of the Obama years. See you at the Inn.

Pop and Belle,

Here we go again. I doubt that it is possible to expect Obama to select anyone who doesn't share these beliefs. When facts prove his opinions wrong he stands in the corner covering his ears and loudly singing LA, LA, LA......I can't hear you.

God Morning Tom,

It's deja vu all over again! I still say impeach him before he completely destroys us. He is now behaving like a vengeful and most dangerous egotistical brat. See you at the Inn, my treat.

She's Eric Holder in a dress.

BTW, no one other than the useful idiots believes that requiring voter ID will hurt the black vote. Democrats have a bad reputation of voter fraud, and that's what voter ID would limit!

The reason the Democrats lost the latest election is that so many voters stayed in their graves. (^-*)

Beetle Belle a genuine pleasure to meet you.

It should not surprise or shock anyone that Obama would try to replace his main stooge Eric Holder with his evil twin. Holder has no concept of what the job of Attorney General is supposed to do, enforce the laws. He saw his role as doing the bidding of his master, Obama, and to maximize the racial divide in this country to the best of his ability. And those things he did quite well.

This current administration could not survive any Attorney General who would actually do his or her job.

Thanks for sharing your views, my friend. I know very little about this choice. Guess I'll have to read up on her. Just what I need, more to do. :)

Good Morning Will,

I do believe you are right. I heard that tons of dead people just felt too down in the dumps to come out and vote! I'll see you at the Inn.

Good Morning Mike,

If we had an Attorney General who lived up to the requirements of the job, Obama and Holder would be in jail! See you at the Inn. Maybe we should make a citizen's arrest. Let's talk about it.

Dear billy,

She is Holder's twin separated(not by much) at birth. See you at the Inn.

POP: Nothing like a good southern Belle...

As for Holder's twin, what did you expect? Obama only knows one thing, and he is not about to change, even though his administration was handed a very big loss. Obama had to do this before the new Congress is sworn in. So, no change is the change we get.

Off to the bar......

There are some serious housekeeping things that absolutely have to get done, like authorizing Obama to have forces overseas, a plate load of judges and other federal nominees, and a continuing resolution of some kind to fund the government. Plus Leahy wants his NSA reform bill on the calendar, and he's the chair of the committee that has to vet Lynch.

This being the case, I don't see any great enthusiasm by the democrats to push this nomination through before the new congress convenes next year...Besides, the vetting process will hardly be completed, if at all, before next year...

There are some serious questions to be put to her by the incoming congress, including her associations with radical anti-white racist groups like Harvard's Black Student Association, her stance on voter ID's which she has decried as racist, and which she also claims to be the case in her objection to the death penalty...The woman is race-possessed, much like her mentor, Holder...

See you at the tavern Pop, set me up with a couple of those Irish coffee's, I'm gagging at the thought of Eric Holder in a dress..

I don't understand the Photo Id issue, as we all are stuck with having o have a SS#. Even children that just hit their first gulp of air have to have it.

My local library requires both SS# and a driver's license or equivalent photo id just to get a library card.

Costco requires a photocopy of your driver's license.

and many more places also require it.

Welfare requires it.

So how much of an impact can it have on the population that doesn't have to show Photo Id for any of these things?

I have never seen any numbers about this group of people that vote, but don't already have a valid photo id. Blacks are a minority, maybe 12% of the population. And out of that number how many of them are voting age, and out of that group how many actually vote regularly. So then what is the number of the people that showing a valid photo id would be impacted

Maybe someone can identify these people, and why they can't in 2 or 4 years before an election get a photo id.

Yet, we are forced to get a SS card, and they were never intended for identification. Now they are the skeleton key for identity theft.

Also read up on the Real Id act which is going to impact driver's licenses and other state id.

Having that act in motion, then why would getting a photo id now be a major problem, before it get really cumbersome due to this act.

Dear bradmaster,

Having to produce a photo ID if you are here illegally or dead or never born can be a problem. The Dems welcome any kind of voter, fake, dead or otherwise. They also welcome them often! See you at the Inn where common sense still exists!

The real question is why is the new bug eating my French Toast? You raise some valid points about voter ID. We have problems here in California with illegsl aliens voting. I don't know why legal citizens would have a problem presenting an ID in a polling place.

Nobody that doesn't count on cheating to win an election would object to requiring voter ID. To my knowledge, everyone needs ID to get food stamps. But then I forget about all the dead people who still vote. It would be difficult for them I supposed to get a voter ID card.

I don't mind and have nothing to hide @ID - I've always had to provide ID when voting, so I don't see any difference there. Those who object about it should be investigated to see what they are hiding, because those who squabble and holler the loudest about a simple measure like this obviously have something to hide.

@Loretta Lynch (or anyone a President nominates or appoints to an office) - My counsel is still out. I believe in giving appointees a try to if they screw it up, then I'll climb on the bandwagon to give my two cents. Sorry, but that's how I feel. I realize this is the opposite of all who have commented so far. All are entitled to their opinions, and so am I.

Good Morning Mel,

Belle does not consider herself to be a bug. As far as Voter ID is concerned, the problem is that illegals, dead people, fake people and liberals all want to vote early and often. Voter ID requirements might just stop them in their tracks and that would be annoying for them. See you at the Inn. Bring ID!

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop 2 years ago Author

Good Morning Mike,

Showing ID for food stamps is probably easy. Fake IDs abound. Come to think of it, why don't all these dead people just get some fake IDs? See you at the Inn. Bring a fake ID!

Dear Rachael,

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. The problem for me is that she will be another Holder and we really can't afford that in this country. Holder should have been asked to step down long ago, but once someone is in, it is almost impossible to get rid of them. See you at the Inn.

Good Morning Pino,

The Senate must not confirm this choice. The country is so polarized that we need someone who respects the law fairly and without bias to bring us back together. See you at the Inn.

Good Morning maven,

That's just what she will be, Holder in a dress, which makes me gag as well. Congress will be spending all their time trying to undo the damage that Obama and his pals have inflicted upon the American people. They might as well start things off by rejecting Lynch. I'll meet you at the Inn. Your drinks await you.

If Holder had done his job, there would be some government officials behind bars today. It will take many years to undo the damage caused by team Obama/Holder and this is a critical position.

As you pointed out, once a person is sitting in the chair of US Attorney General, it is nearly impossible to get them out.

Pop...I have to say I'm in agreement with Mark Levins' assessment of the GOP's reluctance to do battle with this reckless and tyrannical president...http://therightscoop.com/mark-levin-goes-nuclear-o...

His quotes from Montesquieu, and Madison's contributions to the Federalist Papers, define the real Constitutional crisis we are facing by this president's unilateral mandates...The separation of powers...

Dear maven,

Thanks for the link. Mark Levin is a constitutional scholar who has more knowledge in his pinky than in all of Washington. He's right about it all.
