Masters of Delusion

Harlotte is at the Table

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, March 28, 2016. Our creative friend, Harlotte, is at the breakfast table this morning. She has spent the last few incredibly awful days weaving a web that tells the story of a hapless administration doing the bidding of an incompetent and indifferent president. Please join us for a breakfast of honey buns and Irish coffees. Harlotte needs to vent. We hope to see you soon.

I Say No!

Thank you all for joining me this morning. President Obama's refusal to fly home immediately following the brutal radical Islamic terror attacks was too much for this bug and this nation to tolerate. He dismissed the massacre with the wave of his hands at a baseball game with a dictator. His defense, as if there could be one, was to tell our nation and the world that sticking to his schedule denied terrorists any victory in disturbing daily life. He should stand in front of the families who are burying their loved ones, and repeat his words. If this isn't delusional, then please tell me what is.

Source

The Truth

President Obama simply refuses to recognize the truth. Ignoring ISIS and doing the wave at a baseball game while Brussels burns does not show strength or resilience. It does show gross naïveté at best or indifference at worst. The president announced that he had no plans to change his strategy towards dealing with these madmen. He has consistently and willfully underestimated ISIS, and this latest atrocity has done nothing to wake him up. He considers Climate Change to be a huge problem, but he declares that ISIS is not an existential threat to America. If this isn't the essence of delusion, please tell me what is.

Source

Cuba Trumps Everything

President Obama's trip to Cuba was all about President Obama. It didn't have to do with Cuba or Cuban Americans living in the United States. It didn't have to do with the Cold War, democracy, human rights or freedom. It had to do with Obama and his quest for "change" at all costs. He wants to be the guy who opened Cuba to the world. He had no intention of letting a bloodbath in Brussels interfere with his legacy. His actual legacy will have to tell the story of just how misguided and deadly his approach has been these last long eight years. The only consistent behavior he has exhibited is that after a tragedy he shows the world that life goes on, by heading to a baseball game, the dance floor or the golf course. Terrorism is just another day at the park for this president. If this kind of behavior isn't delusional, please tell me what is.

Source

Kerry is Delusional,Too

Obama has trained his lackeys well. Secretary of State John Kerry emulates the president's reaction to the Islamic State. He told the terrorists, us and the world that we won't be intimidated by their actions. He went on to tell the fairy tale of an embattled ISIS weak and broken. The attack on Brussels was proof in Kerry's deluded mind, that ISIS was faltering. According to his twisted reasoning, if ISIS was strong they wouldn't have to invoke terror outside of the Middle East. Kerry needs to go back to Secretary of State School. He insists that ISIS is losing territory and control. Kerry insists that its leaders are being decimated. Kerry insists that its money sources are drying up . Kerry insists that its fighters are running away. If that's not delusional, would somebody please tell me what is.

Source

Stalling

President Obama intends to finish out his term in office without doing anything decisive to destroy ISIS. He just doesn't have the heart or will to do it. He would rather expend his energy, when off the golf course, lecturing Americans on how sweet and innocent Islam is. His solution to the carnage is to allow more Syrians into our country. His reasoning is so askew that it is impossible to make heads or tails of it. If Brussels had stopped the flow of immigrants and prevented the establishment of the NO-GO zones, hundreds of people would be alive today. If Brussels had done a better job of sharing and accepting information about terrorist activity, the dead would be among the living. Obama has it all wrong. ISIS is an existential threat to America and the world. If we don't face the truth and stop the politically correct garbage, we will be Brussels. The next president must secure our borders once and for all. The next president must stop the influx of people into this country who intend to harm us or change us. The next president must build up the military that President Obama has destroyed. The next president must reassure our allies that we are strong and we are with them. The next president has to devise a plan with our allies to destroy this cancer that is ISIS. I hope we vote wisely.

Pop - good topic

Obama has throughout his time in office given little attention to ISIS and their actions - on purpose. His lack of understanding on global politics is the root cause. I believe he seriously thinks it's like a protest group, and if he ignored them they'd go away - like a high school student, he uses some imaginary high road as his path to success while the bullies continue to do merciless damage.

I also agree that he wants to be a president who did things, like broker peace with Iran (failing) and Obamacare (failing) so Cuba might be timed so he doesn't fail - leaving "opened the door to Cuba" like Nixon did with China as a legacy

It's clear to anyone who cares to SEE. Obama fully intends to spend the balance of his time in office making loud, ugly statements via his actions (& lack there of) & his words, exactly what he thinks of America. That we have a President willing to bring us to the depths we're in and further make his exit by laughing in our faces & reconfirming his delusions is the hugest shame and disgrace we've suffered in decades. But continue to suffer his delusions, we shall.

I agree completely pop, with what you state "the next president must do." If that "next president" is Hillary, it will be as though Obama never left. Nothing~absolutely nothing~ is more important and vital to the health & strength of our Nation as WHO our next president will be. Catch you at the Inn.........Paula

Pop and Harlotte,

Obama also did his best imitation of Al Pacino in "Last Tango in Paris" after the ball game. As for Kerry, I think he should be ineligible for government service until he conclusively demonstrates that he has learned that Genghis Khan is not spelled or pronounced starting with a J.

Well it appears the next President has a lot of work to do if they are going to check off that list of yours.....and they should....and hopefully they will. Cross your fingers and hope for the best, my friend.

Good Morning RJ,

His legacy just got a bit more tarnished. Fidel Castro blasted Obama and the U.S. This president is a huge embarrassment. See you at the Inn.

Good Morning Paula,

It is clear that those ugly twenty years the Obamas sat in Wright's church left their intend mark. For Obama it is God Damn America and he proves that every time he opens his mouth. I am beyond disgusted and disheartened. I'll save you a seat at the Inn.

Had he done the right thing and returned from Cuba the eyes of the world would have been on him. He would have been expected to show some leadership skills that he just doesn't have. We can expect little from this President except more damage to the country in his remaining time in office.

To expect more would mean we are the one's who are waiting for miracle's to happen.

The bum in the Oval Office is a disgrace to that office and the country. We are just about doomed because of him. If Hillary is the next president,or Bernie, then we should consider ourselves doomed. Remember, our future is in the hands of the smiling a&@holes who stand behind her and Bernie, and the a&@holes on college campuses. Who don't know who the VP is.

If America isn't in grave danger by ISIS, North Korea, and Lord knows who else, because of Obama and cohorts, then please tell me who is.

Dear Tom,

Let's just eliminate Kerry from service without him having to prove anything. He couldn't sell me ketchup! See you at the Inn.

You are right. As my Grandma would say, "You can't get pearls from a swine." Why are we continually surprised when a cold, incompetent guy acts cold and incompetent? See you at the Inn.

Patti - I actually had a few bosses during my working career who were just like Obama. They had a knack of disappearing when the going got tough, but were always willing to take the credit when the problem was fixed.

By now it should be obvious to everyone what a mistake it was to put him in the White House, not once but twice. It is hard to believe there are still some out there that really believe he is a great President. But that could be tied to the day they get their food stamps and Earned Income Credit tax refunds.

That's Obama - notice how he claims credit for gas prices being low right now...

Dear Mike,

I was just listening to a little Dem twit, she was about 10 years old, explain that the president did the exact right thing by staying in Cuba. She pointed out that Castro is very sensitive and would have taken offense if Obama left. Should we laugh or cry?

Pop...Excellent post as always...Who needs Drudge..? Harlotte's take is right on...Why do we continue to suffer this fool..? Congress needs to ignore this idiot until he leaves our house...God knows what pardons he has in store for us...Clinton's last minute pardon of Marc Rich will pale to Obama's list of pardons he will fling at us...

If one were looking for blame than we have to point the finger of guilt at the electorate, twice...

Pardon me, my micro-expressions overwhelmed my critical thinking...I feel trapped in Sartre's "No Exit"...Shoot the juice to me, Bruce, put a gallon in me, Allen...Cuban rum and cigars for all at the Inn, let the bittersweet fun begin...

How I love your posts. We are all trapped in Sartre's "No Exit" because of the ugly threesome of Obama, Jarrett and Soros. Let's be honest, there are more than three villains making us miserable, but we'll start with these three. Ignoring Obama isn't that easy. He is trying everything he can to change everything we believe in before he must leave the Oval Office. Head over to the Inn, I'll save you a seat.

Pop,

My mistake this morning. Al Pacino's sensuous tango with Gabrielle Anwar was in "Scent of a Woman", hooah, not "Last Tango...".

Let's just hope more American's wake up to see whose side Obama is on and it sure isn't ours...so who does that leave? Seems pretty clear to me he is accomplishing much for his friends.

Good Morning Jackie,

He surely isn't working in the best interests of America. That should have been clear before he was elected. By the end of his first term, an infant could have seen the truth, but the electorate ignored the truth and brought him back. We really can't take much more. See you at the Inn.

Brad, I agree Bush could have done better but I don't get it, if you were disappointed in Bush's behavior why wouldn't you be disappointed in Obama's. Bush's wrong doesn't justify Obama's decision, they both could have made better decisions, at least Bush's was spur of the moment, Obama's, well calculated and just another one of a pattern of similar behavior he has exhibited throughout his "reign."

tsadjatko profile image

tsadjatko 8 months ago from maybe (the guy or girl) next door

So your point is you could go either way on Obama, the topic of this hub page but for the hell of it you want to throw Bush under the bus, not the topic of anything here.

I'm not a Bush fan either, but anything he did or didn't do has absolutely nothing to do with the behavior of the Messiah BO which is often deplorable. Obama's claim he isn't letting terrorism change his way of life is total BS because normally he'd have respected those victims but instead chose to disrespect. NUTS.

Dear brad,

I deleted your comments as you asked, but I honestly don't know why. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I have to say I don't equate Bush with Obama in any way. He reacted properly in from of those children. The Secret service got him out of the school and flew him around all day He could not come back to Washington. See you at the Inn.

Well BP maybe, on second thought, he didn't want to turn your hp into a thread about Bush, if so he should be commended. So you might as well delete my comments to his about Bush too.
