Should President Obama Not Seek a Second Term?
Many Democrats are calling for President Obama NOT to seek another term as president of the United States. Many think the once popular president is now a liability, whether right or wrong. Obama's popularity has dropped to below 45% overall and 40% on the economy, which the Republicans are making worse. Yes, it is politics and it is a presidential campaign season. Obama blames the Republicans for not cooperating, which is true, yet without them, Obama cannot do much. Washington is as divided as the White\Black civil rights back in the 1960's. Obama is also being overly partisan.
Many Democratic leaders now think he should not seek a second term as president and conclude that Hillary Clinton would have a much better preserving a Democrat in the White House. Unlike Obama, she basks in a recent poll where 70% think she is doing a great job. And, if she went up Mitt Romney, she would would win, 55% to 38%. Maybe Obama should consider having her as a VP mate? I doubt if she would accept that. Obama really cannot run for a second term on his record, which is exactly what? Yes, he inherited a lot of mess, but he promised to sort it out, he has not and both sides are intransigence. Even the Super committee with members of both parties has failed to come together and solve the budget crisis America faces. Obama indicates he will veto all bills.
