TSA Has Gone Too Far

TSA: Bad for the Economy

I am outraged now. The TSA has overstepped their boundaries now. The TSA is trying to do further damage to the economy. This is a case of what goes on in Vegas does not stay in Vegas. This is especially irresponsible considering the unemployment rate is around 15% in Nevada. The TSA is about to destroy the prostitution industry and no one is outraged! That's right, you heard it here first. With the TSA's new search procedures, no one should ever have to seek the services of a prostitute or a gigolo for sexual gratification.

The next time someone is lonely, feeling frisky or randy, or it's just been too long...book a flight. Nothing like getting groped by a complete stranger to cure the lonesome blues. And its free! No more expensive hookers or gigilos. I saw the pictures the Denver Post posted today! Wow!! Nothing quite like some intimate contact with a stranger! I was going to throw in some really obvious puns here, but I guess I will refrain. I know, not very much like me is it?

Now For the Serious Part

Have you seen the video of the three year old girl being groped by the TSA official? If that doesn't make a parents blood boil, you just aren't breathing! I have never been so enraged in my life. This poor three year old girl is screaming at the top of her lungs "STOP" while the TSA official is running her hands up the little girls skirt. SICK! I can not contain my disgust. HOW MANY THREE YEAR OLDS FLEW A JET PLANE INTO THE WORLD TRADE CENTER?

No one is safe as you can see from the pictures. Nuns, children, Senior Citizens, even soldiers...yes soldiers. They even search the pilots. Lee Ann Tweeden, who's husband is a pilot, brought up a great point on Sean Hannity's show. If a pilot wants to kill 200 people, he doesn't need a weapon, he can simply fly the plane into the ground. I am sure we will hear some screams from the left since (1) she said that on Hannity and (2) she applied some common sense.

These new procedures of the TSA are a clear violation of the Fourth Amendment. Where is the outrage we should expect from our Congress and our administration? Where is the Supreme Court when you need them? I am sure Elena Kagan is too busy with kicking the military out of college campuses to worry about the population's individual civil rights.

I of all people realize the importance of National Security. I have spent more months of my life in Iraq than I cared to (for that matter, one month is too much). There are plenty of other ideas out there besides the body cavity search, full body scan or groping Nuns and toddlers. Try going after the terrorist! How about profiling, which works well in Israel.

Poll on TSA abuses

Are you willing to go through or see a family member going through the pat down of TSA?

See results

I realize a boycott against flying is not very practical. I am not sure what we can do other than continue to speak out against these abuses. It may require a few martyrs going to jail and speaking out. That is a tough call with this administration though, we may never hear from those people again. If there was a time to contact your representative, this may be the time. The TSA chief testified a couple of days ago and he saw no problem with the searches the way they were. He says he went through the pat-down and someone please tell me which TSA agent was going to feel up the boss? That's like the General who thinks the quality of food at a Mess Hall is the same from when he doesn't inspect. That was about the only time I would eat in a Mess Hall was when we knew the General was about to inspect.

I have a two year old daughter and I can say one thing with certainty. If I saw someone running their hands inside her skirt, someone is going to tote an (censored) whoopin'! I would certainly be in jail. Some causes are worth the jail time though. Especially if you can get in one of the new Obama detention centers. As a soldier, I can assure you I have slept in much worse places.

Is this what is coming next?

In an attempt to make us feel better about all this, the TSA makes sure all pat-downs are same sex. Boy, I feel better all ready. I may love my wife and be faithful, but I would definately prefer an opposite sex search. Not because I am a perv or anything like that, but I am quite sure a female would not grope me as invasive as a male. I am way too old to worry about someone trying to check my package out. Nice try TSA, but I am not comfortable with any of this. What say you? Be sure to come by and leave your comments.
