The Defiant One

Good Morning, Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, November 10, 2014. Our soulful friend, Mantis Manny, is at the breakfast table this morning. He is very troubled, although not surprised, by President Obama's defiant attitude towards the Republican sweep. All indications are pointing to a very rough two years going forward. President Obama clearly doesn't give a damn about the American people. Manny has asked me to extend an invitation to all of you to join us for breakfast. Manny will be preparing Breakfast Tacos. He has suggested to me that if President Obama gets his way, tacos will replace Mom's apple pie as America's iconic comfort food. We hope to see you soon. I will be serving Bloody Mary's. You are going to need them.

Thank you all for joining me this morning. President Obama, in complete denial and defiance, has kicked the results of the mid-term elections aside and is ready to "go it alone" once again. If any of you were expecting a more contrite tone coming from the White House, I have a bridge I need to sell. It has been announced that President Obama is thoroughly prepared to aggressively pursue immigration reform with an executive order. He has always made it plain that he finds Congress to be an impediment to his socialist agenda. With two years left to go, he has decided to "transform" our nation once and for all with the action of a pen and an arrogance that knows no bounds. "Immigration reform" in the president's view is wholesale amnesty. So much for being bound by the Constitution. He has announced that he and he alone has the authority to enact laws he deems best for the country. To hell with Congress and the American people, the King has spoken.

The Republican controlled Congress and the American people simply cannot allow President Obama to hijack the country. There are laws in place written by the legislative branch that are against amnesty. President Obama has consistently ignored our immigration laws, opened our borders and set up the United States to fail. He and his administration plan to grant amnesty to about 34 million illegal aliens in the country. He has invited aliens into our country who have brought diseases back to our shores that we eliminated decades ago. The Republicans and every responsible sane human being regardless of party affiliation have to see the recklessness of his plan. His actions reach far beyond the original intent of executive orders. They cut right into the rights of every single citizen in this nation. Granting amnesty on this level would change the demographics of our nation forever. In the end it will bankrupt us both financially and spiritually. Our national spirit will be broken. Our country will be inhabited by people who don't possess the necessary skills to make it in America. The burden of caring for all of the needs of these people will fall on the American taxpayer. It is going to break the bank.

President Obama seems to be experiencing a break with reality. He just can't seem to accept the election results and what they say about the will of the American people. Life under Obama hasn't been good for this country. People have suffered horrific job loss, the trashing of their insurance, and now the real possibility of taking on millions upon millions of people who will be on the welfare rolls in a New York minute. We have lost the respect of the world and that fact alone places us in a very vulnerable position. President Obama has shown our enemies that we are weak. We have become a nation that talks a lot and does nothing. Our country is under attack by madmen who are determined to take over the world, and the American people are under attack by an administration that has been deaf, dumb and blind for six long, unbearable years.

We have to clean up the mess that the Obama administration has foisted upon us. We need to do it immediately. Dragging our feet is not an option. We know what has to be done. We have had 6 years to think about it. When the new Congress takes over, progress had better be swift. The White House Press Secretary, Josh Earnest, has taken the time to remind all Americans that President Obama has the power of the veto. Perhaps it is time to remind Josh Earnest and President Obama that the American people have power, too. We proved that in the elction. If that alone doesn't stop President Obama then impeach him. He won't be missed.
