What a Waste!

Oh, Mon Dieu!

Good Morning , Breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, March 3, 2014. Our friend Antoine is with me this morning. He dropped in for breakfast and a chat. With tax time fast approaching he would like to tell us just how our hard earned money is being wasted by this administration. Please join us for warm buttery croissants and a French coffee.

Bonjour mes amis. Il est moi, Antoine. I recently learned that your government had spent $100 billion on programs fraught with waste and corruption. I nearly lost my appetite, but these croissants are calling out to me. The list of programs that have wasted your money is quite long. None of you should be surprised to learn that the top three programs are all healthcare related. The winners for the worst losers are Medicare Fee-For-Service reimbursements, Medicaid payouts to the states and Part C of Medicare Advantage. These programs alone accounted for 62 billion dollars of the "improper" payments made with your money.

Big Government is Hauling Your Money Away

Hand It Over!

The amount of waste goes on and on and yet this ant hears precious little about it in the news. Last year your country gave an aid package to Egypt that consisted of 16 F-16 fighter jets and 200 Abrams tanks. Basically, the Obama administration took your money and handed it over to an enemy, an enemy that reminds its people to make sure their children and grandchildren foster hatred towards Zionists and Jews and all those that support them.

Are you aware of the fact that your nation left behind $7 billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan? The Obama administration spent $27 million teaching Moroccans how to create pottery. Your taxes were given to Yale University. To be exact, you spent $384,949 so that scientists could learn about sexual conflict among ducks!

Not Funny At All...

The insanity if all this waste speaks for itself. What it doesn't address is why there isn't more of a public outcry. This is, after all, your money. If I were you, I would resent every single dollar I give away to a government that is so blase about spending it foolishly and never addressing the problem. It is a big problem and should not be considered the cost of doing business. The cost is too high and all of you are paying the price for gross incompetence. Your taxes are going up and they will continue to go up as long as government is never held accountable for their bad and disgraceful behavior.

Your President Obama has vilified the rich because he doesn't believe they give enough. When I remember that the Obama's spent a whopping $1.4 billion in 2011 alone on trips, staff and salaries, I just want to bury myself in an anthill and cry.

You Have a Pen, Too!

Tell the Government How You Feel!

This ant thinks it is high time you dust off your pen and use it. Write to your representatives and remind them that they work for you. Let them know that you are aware of all this waste and that you are not amused. Your taxes are not this administration's personal piggy bank. In the private sector just one of these outrageous wastes would be grounds for immediate dismissal of those responsible. It is time that big government is reined in. It is time to demand a complete accounting of all the money being spent. Obamacare will open the floodgates when it comes to mishandling of funds. The opportunity for waste will multiply, no doubt, to epic proportions.

Let's go children

The day of reckoning has arrived

Against you tyranny's ugly flag is raised

Stand up for yourselves!
