   Did you know that Che Guevara was a medical doctor?
   
   A lot of kids wear the Tee shirt but how many know the depth of this man of history.? I consider him an icon of humanity and shudder at the thought that he was shot in the head by a CIA operative while he lay bound on a simple wooden table top.

   He was indeed a 'true' martyr. Being a doctor with kids and wife, he could have 'stayed' home but he chose to fight to help poor people all over the world. The spirit lives on.

   I read the Motorcycle Diaries and I don't recall him becoming a "doctor" but he was a student, right? It's a good read about his formative yeasr as told from his own perspective.

      The Motorcycle Diaries took place during his "off" time from school . Guevara returned to Argentina at the end of that trip and finished medical school. He was indeed a doctor.
