The Formula for Inner Beauty

About three years ago I was in my college Psychology class. The teacher was responding to the answer of another student in class. While responding to the other student, she kept staring at me. She swiftly stopped what she was saying to the other student to look at me and say," looks will get you nowhere", and then she swiftly continued the conversation with the other student. After completing that class, I left out with a “C”. I was judged by my outer appearance, and this person knew nothing about who I am on the inside. I believe that who you are is a reflection of who you are on the inside. We all come face to face with our beliefs when we look in the mirror. We are what we think. If you are a strong willed person, you will look like a strong willed person. If you carry yourself with grace, it will become of you. Beliefs take forms and shapes on you. I think that if you do not plant seeds within yourself, ignoring your inner self and are busy looking at another woman in envy, then you are giving that woman your power. Inside the self is a whole inner world, and you have to cultivate it like a garden. When a person is far away from their inner selves they become sick, confused, displays anxieties such as rolling of the eyes, and always looking on the outside of themselves. People like this, they always feel empty and they always have to find something to fill that emptiness. When material things, or superficialness is not enough they are filled with egoic idle talk. When a person stay outside of themselves to long they forget the inner self and some will even forget its existence. The result of this is that the person will be in a state of confusion, and all they know is material. Being in a state of confusion they unknowingly become “idol” worshippers because they are putting their energy in empty things. The inner beauty within is the inner world which is Gods temple. Whatever seeds you plant in your inner world will reflect on the outside, and that is beauty.
