Just Passin Through.... and it's getting late in the day.
Just an old desert rat, in the middle of a wild unihabited, uncultivated 200 acre tract of sand, broadcasting on a satellite hook, powered by solar panels. Truck in 1,000 gallons of water once a month. The house is subterranian no heating, no cooling, solar water heating gravity fed. The only scars on the land is a solar panel array with a truck and water tank surrounded by mesquite trees for camoflage. It's awsomely quiet and the cost of living is groceries and vehicle fuel, even here the government picks your pocket for property tax. None the less life is good. 54 miles to town out a gate in the fence of my no tresspassing compound. A drill rig is scheduled for next month and water trips will be gone and my trips to town will be about twice a year. The well is down 255 feet and the water is good! It turned out not to be as hard as expected and laced with mineral deposit forming contamination so a simple charcoal and ozonator is all I needed to add. Had a bulldozer cut a ramped ditch to put the truck in and I pump water into the 1000 gallon tank and then on to the bunker so there is a reserve in the event It goes dry.
So if your behind the Superstition Mountains and see a gate with an arch that says "Fire Base Diamondback" don't cut the lock, the gate has a monitoring system with camers so I'll know you are there So if you hear a voice coming from a mesquite tree we may reach a deal for you to come visiting.
May you find peace and the blessings of Jesus be upon you.

Very happy to join your fan club. By the information shared in your profile I think I'd enjoy stopping in for a visit. We could talk about songs that make a difference. Peace & blessings to you.

I really love your way of life, it is tempting to do the same, people are nuts and I'm getting tired. I love what you write but I know I hope in vain for a hub :-) See you around Hubpages and maybe if it's welcome, I'll pass by one of these days.
