Alan Shepard has over 10 years of award-winning sales and marketing experience in a broad range of industries. Alan first began working in the radio advertising field in Little Rock, Arkansas with the nationally syndicated program FamilyLife Today as a Production Assistant. In that capacity, he was responsible for producing advertising spots, scheduling advertising, writing production copy, supervising duplication and assisting in the overall production of the radio program. During his time at FamilyLife, the show grew from reaching 25 markets to over 100 markets in the United States. Alan’s experience also includes 5 years as a Senior Credit and Marketing Analyst with Nuvell Financial Services of Little Rock, a subsidiary of GMAC. His Southern Ohio market included servicing 150 GM automotive dealerships in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton, Ohio as well as portions of Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. Under his leadership, this market grew to consistently produce as one of the top three markets in the company. In the spring of 2001, Alan was honored with the Salesperson of the Quarter award for his efforts. As an Advertising Executive at the Log Cabin Democrat in Conway, Alan coordinated the 2007 Parade of Homes magazine for the Faulkner County Homebuilder’s Association and Mayflower’s 2007 Ranch Days Festival program.  Currently, Alan is Director of Sales and Marketing at Bella Spa Products, LLC in Maumelle, Arkansas where he directs a worldwide distributor network of over 250 distributors of the ionSpa. Alan’s success in corporate business has carried over into his private consulting and charity work. In the course of the past 5 years, his consulting business, Strategic Marketing Concepts, has assisted small businesses, automotive dealerships and non-profit organizations in Arkansas and Texas with their marketing and advertising strategies.  In addition, he has worked to promote the American Red Cross, Relay for Life, KaBOOM! Playgrounds, Habitat for Humanity in Little Rock and the Toad Suck Daze festival in Conway. A gifted communicator, Alan is also in demand as a public speaker, musician and actor. Alan’s ability to communicate to diverse groups has made him a frequent speaker at schools, churches, youth events, camps, and collegiate organizations. He has served as an emcee at numerous charity events including the 2007 Taste of Home Cooking School in Conway.  As a singer, musician and actor, Alan has performed in over 25 states. His acting ability has landed him roles in productions at the Community Theatre of Little Rock, Conway Community Arts Association, Chicago’s Village Players Theatre, dinner theatres and a touring production with Life Action based in Buchanan, Michigan.  Most recently, Alan appeared as the villainous Mr.Westerby in the CCAA production of Busybody. Alan’s education includes studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and Texas Baptist Institute in Henderson, Texas. An avid fitness enthusiast, Alan enjoys competitive bodybuilding and weight lifting. He also enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, wine, golf, hunting, reading and writing.
