I have just recently moved to the United States from South Africa where I taught Art Theory and Visual Culture at the University of Cape Town. While my writing preferences are predominantly academic I am increasingly discovering the creative wonders of Poetry and Children's Literature.
I have a passion for cheesecake and coffee of which I drink gallons from a cracked china tea cup. My lifelong ambition was to become an 'adult' and my most joyous moments are spent in the company of animals.
I am absolutely delighted to have found this website and am hoping that it will provide me the necessary 'shove' I need to sharpen my dulled pencil and get back into writing everyday.
