Originally from the east coast, Andie grew up in the woods in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Her dad gave her her first camera when she was 10 years old. Her family was moving to Europe for a few years and he thought she would like to document her travels. The camera was a point-and-shoot, and Andie quickly found herself jealous of all the knobs and dials on her dad’s old Ricoh SLR.

Years later while attending college, Andie declared her major in Visual Media and took that same Ricoh back to campus with her. It stayed by her side during her semester at Prague’s famed film academy, FAMU, and again when she moved to L.A. to attend Art Center College of Design. It has since been placed on the shelf in favor of her newer medium format, Holga, Polaroid, and digital cameras; but don’t tell her dad or he might ask for it back!

Since graduating from Art Center, Andie spent some time assisting then served as the Photo Editor at Filter Magazine for nearly three years before dedicating her time 100% to shooting. She has retained her passion for traveling and capturing the quiet moments in her otherwise fast-paced life. But she has found an equal passion working with people and is especially inspired by artists, musicians, dancers, and designers.

She has set her roots in L.A. where she lives with her dogs (she supports local rescues) and her fiancé, a musician. When she's not busy shooting photos, she enjoys the variety of night life that L.A. has to offer, balanced with more chill nights at home with friends. She is especially interested in environmental issues, great food - though she doesn't care to cook much, her dogs, the local music scene, and fantastic design.
