I'm a writer and entrepreneur with an interest in all arts and sciences, music, cookery, personal development and, of course, business and finance.

History:

Born in the West Midlands, educated through church schools and the comprehensive system upto age 18. Equally good at foreign languages and sciences, I got persuaded (nay coerced) into a science career. But more interested in music and computers (so a nerd, then!). Set up first company at the age of 17, making cuddly toys!

Went to uni - actually went to 4 unis, as a student, postgrad student, researcher/tutor, and senior researcher (hopefully in that order!)

Moved into industry - aka academic career death! Used the opportunity to teach myself about stockmarkets, psychology of optimal performance and methods of personal development. Made redundant 2008 - aka science career death!

Now gone 'plural' - into serial entrepreneurship both on and offline according to opportunities.

That's me in a nutshell - well, not literally, you understand!
