Obsessions include: animals, natural history, open spaces, Van Morrison, wandering, traveling, roaming, in my head and on my feet. I'm a professional dog trainer and have worked in animal rescue shelters for years and years. That's an Australian Cattledog, and I admit that I am hopelessly gaga over them.

I'm currently experiencing culture shock after moving to a town with a population of 2500 people.  This, after living in large cities all of my life. I am finally getting used to the silence and not breathing exhaust fumes.
