I am Blaq Buddafly, born Iesha Powell. I write with an approach that reflects my life experiences growing up on the feral streets of Oakland. A poet and avid reader by nature, I've been writing poetry and short stories since the tender age of 9.
I am a fun loving, spontaneous and free sprited person. I enjoy reading, writing (duh) and hanging with friends and family.
Currently I work in the Administrative field as an Executive Assistant, but hope to pursue a career in writing in the near future.
