When I was a child, I always wanted lots of pets. I adored the company of animals and would have filled the house with all number of creatures had my parents allowed it. Unfortunately we only had a cat, but fortunately, the whole world is full of creatures you can come to know and love if you just pay attention.

Rabbits For All!

As an adult I have kept rabbits, mice, dogs, cats, birds, fish and more, but I believe most of my animal husbandry skills came from those very early days spent out in the bushes scouting for little animal friends.

My influences were Gerald Durrel, an animal collector who worked tirelessly to preserve endangered species, and Jean Henri Fabre, a French entomologist who happily spent days observing the comings and goings of the smallest creatures, and without whom we might know very much less about the animal world.

Bunniez is all about the bunnies, the doggies, the fishies, the birdies, all the animals which creepeth on land, soar in the sky or lurk beneath the waves and rivulets.
