I am an 18 year veteran teacher. I have worked with children ranging in ages from 8 through to 14; in both private and public school settings. I am also a married mother of four children. This chapter of my life is dedicated to passing my accumilated knowledge on to new teachers and those seriously considering the teacheing profession.

Great to see another teacher here. I am surprised with all your years of experience you still remember that first day apprehension. I just moved into a new school in November and I still don't feel the classroom is "fully mine" I have made some progress in my endeavor. The students in my inner-city 5th grade class are slowly accepting the fact that I am not going anywhere and I am in charge.
