If home is where the heart is, my home is my family. I am fortunate to share my life with an amazing husband, three wonderful kids, and a loving cat, hm-mm, maybe it should be a loving husband and an amazing cat. Writing is and has been a lifelong passion that began at a very early age. Other passions include cooking, gardening, photography and living life to the fullest extent possible. I look forward to new experiences and believe, for the most part, that if you trust in yourself you can attain anything you put your mind to, as is evidenced by the life I've lead thus far. I was told after being run over by a van, at age three, that I would never walk again, yet I can. Determination is a big motivator and I think that as long as you continue to follow your passions you will never fail. You never fail until you stop trying. In September 2008 I self-published Three Trimesters... A Journal to Motherhood, Would I self-publish again? I'm still debating. Am I glad I wrote the journal? Yes, and I'm proud of it and myself for having the gumption to do so.

Hi Carmen, thanks for your support - I bet there are far more of us who are dead against white bread and refined white flour products than we realise. Hopefully pages like mine and others who talk about the many benefits of switching to wholesome foods will help those numbers grow!
