I'm a professional blogger and freelance writer. I blog for companies, sometimes as an independent contractor, sometimes as a direct hire, and keep a personal blog called The Spewker, a mish-mosh of celebrity politics, news, and reviews.
I've been exploring the different forms of social media and trying to maintain an online presence that broadcasts my writing and interests. After a 25+ career in law, I decided to see if I could make money from my passion which is writing and creative entertainment.
I suppose the hardest part for me is that I'm a boomer in a world of gen-Xers. I don't have the technological skills I need to make my personal blog a real success, although I have so many ideas for a great personal blog. I feel as though I've been ambling through it all without any real direction. I know I could do so much more if I joined up with something/someone who would take care of the technical side and just allow me to write.

I'm married with three teenagers and a lot of personal stuff on my plate. To the greatest extent possible, I intend to visit here often and work with others to create an online presence.
