I'm a newbie writer looking for ways to further developed my craft. I was a caregiver for 12 years, but I had to stop and change directions in my life.

I'm now a full time student, taking as many writing classes as I can and majoring in Communications.

I'm passionate about writing and I've become addicted to writing blogs recently. I believe in sharing information and learning from shared ventures. I love to write about everything and anything.

I also care a great deal about depression and mental illness because I experienced it myself and wish to help anyone else who's going through it.

I'm currently working on a book about my depression and hope to have it publish someday. I'm hoping Hub Pages will give me the creative outlet I seek with writing, getting to know other writers and maybe make a little bit of money if I can.
