Darlene Marie was born in the Deep South during the early sixties. Partially raised by a grandmother who successfully survived "The Great Depression" while raising seven children. Exposure to extreme frugality at an early age had a lasting impression.

After becoming an adult and starting a family of her own, she learned that saving money does not require taking such radical measures. It really is simple if you know where, how and when to look for those money saving opportunities—Even making slight changes can reap huge financial rewards.
