Self proclaimed master of the universe, David is a professional apostate of the teapot agnostic variety (which is just another way of saying that he is an agnostic atheist). He enjoys reading, writing, sleeping, eating and . . . why am I writing this in the third person?
Anyway, I like to write about atheism, science (particularly biological evolution) and subjects pertaining to freethought and philosophy; although, I don't claim to be an expert on any of these topics. I do however, spend a significant amount of time (probably to an unhealthy degree) studying the subjects that I choose to write about.
Feel free to give me some scathing criticism or (preferably) some words of praise. My ego can never be stroked enough. Enjoy!!!

Even though I am a Christian, I very much enjoy and appreciate the thoughts of others who do not believe as I do. So far, your writing has been respectful, intellectual and very thought-provoking. I hope that through HubPages, I can work to dispel your stereotypes of "believers."

David: my first name also, you are absolutely right about "believers", usually much more critical than Atheists, or non-believers. Stick to your beliefs, as strongly as the fanatics do. Faith and belief in whatever object, person, book or Religion is our option! If anyone is trying to say "you must believe as I do", they have little faith in anything. They are afraid of your "free will" and individual action, possibly opposed to "a group, or herd mentality."
