I retired early in May of 2002 after 35 years in the telecommunications systems industry. Everything was set for my fulltime Rving Lifestyle that I had dreamed about. I had been looking forward to a more relaxed lifestyle. Suddenly things looked a little scary when my stock market funds lost more than 50% in the most recent technology bust. Well, not to be undone, I went to work learning about the Internet and how it could subsidize my finances. I was forced to find solutions to the high cost of health care , and living expenses, as I was too young for any government benefits. The end result was my retirement years are now a lot more flush with a little more finances available than I had planned on.
